If Hanath plays we still only have one ruck. If Clarke plays like he did last week we have zero rucks.

The laat time we went with one ruck. that sole ruckman got injured. Still. I am gutted Tanner Smith got injured as he occasionly rucked and i am slowly becoming a fan of his work rate.

I was just thinking with Johnson comin back, one KPD leaves. However they may play taller and drop a smaller player

when Johnson returns we play 3 talls. collins and Dawson take the KPD spots. Johnson takes the back pocket as a spare man. he is our best kick in the back line

Potato he may be but if the club/selection panel are going to persist with Pearce and Suban when it's patently clear they have nothing to offer, then Hannath should stay on the list purely as backup given our ruck stocks are basically nil

You would wonder why he has been kept around for so long, unless Freo views him as either a long term development option (he is only 24, seems much older!) or a spare player for when things go to crap (like this year!).

Heres the thing about Hannath. Hannath was not a 1st round pick. He was a psd pick.

He played 12 games in 2013 was because Sandi, Griffin and clarke were injured at one point.

Most of those 12 games he played were in the 1st half of 2013. As I said he will never be our number 1 ruckman. Again he is better than nothing at the moment. Good luck trying to find a replacement for him because if we get another teenager, it will take 3-4 years until we find out if he is good. even then that ruckman is certain to be good

I can't see Hughes or Morabito walking straight into the team. Griffin on the other hand could be a straight swap for Clarke if he passes his test.

But with a strange twist RTB may throw Weller into the midfield as the tagger and see how he goes working with Neale ,Blakley and Suban .Langdon could then play on the HFF and increase our goal kicking ability .

Tucker doesn't need a break after the bye. Unless he plays an absolute shocking few weeks I say keep him in and hungry for a permanent 22 spot next year. He looks like he just needs to slow down his thought process a bit more which is hopefully soon as one of his main attributes in his draft bio was his decision making under pressure.

Hannath has no potential. He's a potato.

You must play a ruckman 5-6 weeks in a row and give them a chance.Not in one week out the next.Not fair on the individual.If they do not respond in this period then trade.

He was my ruffy . Mundy has been playing in the midfield with stints down back .
