Out: Hurn, Jones, Winder, Waterman
In: Witherden, O’Neill, Trew, Ainsworth (sub)

Consider Vardy/Williams for Brander if we need ruck cover for Grundy. Preferably Williams if he’s ready to go.

There is a very good chance Simmo won't drop Waterman. He moved Waterman to Hurns position, after Hurn went off, so may give him another chance.

FF: Allen, Kennedy, Petruccelle
HF: Cripps, Darling, Ryan
C: Gaff, Sheed, Ainsworth (to tag SS)
HB: Cole, McGovern, Witherden
FB: Sheppard, Barrass, Rotham

R: Naitanui, Kelly, O’Neill

I: Duggan, Brander, Nelson, Winder
S: Jones

A youthful, exciting side ready to play their roles and take the W. Not too tall either. Duggan and Nelson to rotate in the middle. Rotham to fill Hurn’s shoes.

OUT: Hurn, Redden, Waterman, Jones*
IN: Witherden, O’Neill, Ainsworth, Winder*

Out: Yesterday’s second half piss poor effort
In: Hard work, motivation and team work

We all know that when the eagles are on they are best team in the Comp. It’s frustrating watching all the talent we have on the park looking like they don’t give a f***

I think in their heads they think they care. Actions tell a different story.

Ryan Kennedy Allen
Petch Darling Cripps
Gaff Redden Duggan
Witherden McGovern Rotham
Shep Barrass Cole
Nicnat Kelly O’Neill
Brander Nelson Ainsworth Sheed
Winder
Redden tag Sidebottom if in the middle otherwise Pendlebury.
Nelson rotate through the guts to show a bit of mongrel. Can rotate in backline as well.
Sheed to not stand flat flooted at contests, move earlier and lay a bloody tackle. If he had curly hair and number 11 and bombed the ball like he does everyone would be calling for his head.
Cripps to try and lay a tackle when chasing instead of pushing the player all the time

Id want my coach to be someone youd at least heard of.

On SM-G925I using BigFooty.com mobile app
Hickmott is well known and respected. These guys are coaching to Simmo's master plan.

I previously said that we just ride it out and try to get the team to execute Simmo's game plan (high risk, high reward). But I think there's a changing of the guard (Swans, Dees, Dogs, Port).

Our list is good enough right now (not sure about next year). I'd be throwing away the game plan and starting afresh.

Collingwood are now getting panned, much like the saints were last week.

Expect another high pressure encounter.

I'll be tipping the eagles, as i expect the midfield to cop a rocket internally. However i dont think ill have any confidence tipping them for away games given the midfield jeckyll and hyde performance during games.

I’m vibing Foley in for Hurn.
I hope you are wrong. Witherden is the obvious choice with runs on the board at AFL level. It would be perverse not to pick him, worse than Waterman picked instead of XON. It could only be because he has pissed some people off by saying something like “why are these crabs getting a game instead of me?” Not to pick Witherden would be to shoot yourself in the foot two weeks running. Why was he recruited if he can’t get a game? I am sure he wouldn’t be here next year to play Beagles.
Foley may hopefully have improved but he certainly didn’t cover himself in glory in his debut.

Well based on what we have seen this year.....if it is a high pressure encounter we will struggle

Can be 100 percent certain Ainsworth is in. The parts of the game that infuriated Simmo and co is what they consider Ainsworths strength which is defensive positioning and running
Yes defensive positioning and running is what lost us the game v St Kilda. Ainsworth is the missing piece to the next 5 flags.
