Outside of Sam McClure, John Ralph has to be the biggest flog in the media.

Just suggested on MWT that we trade Barrass for pick 12 then give that to Richmond for Baker.

What a f**kwit.
Its just a Vic centric slant.

No way in hell baker.is worth anything higher than pick 20.

Could see the vic media lauding barrass next year if he was in a whorks jumper.

BARASS HAVING A BREAKOUT SEASON

Trading Waterman is a big no no. Yes he would have heaps of trade currency but he’s also a quality player in an age bracket where seriously lack quality and still need more of.

Will he ever kick 50 goals in a season again? - there is a pretty good chance he won’t.

He’s had a great season - by his standards - which let’s face it were about as borderline league quality as it gets. He got to play as the primary forward in a terrible side (for the most part) and has returned to ‘pretty good’ now that he is sharing the forward line with a superior player in OA.

He picks up injuries semi regularly so he’s not overly reliable in that sense either.

….and above all, despite the best football of his long career, the Eagles are still cemented to the bottom of the ladder with little hope of being up the other end before Waterman is 30.

We’ll regret giving him a 5 year contract - at least Jack Darling had earned his with consistently good football over a number of seasons.

I think if we going in the forwards to go it has to be Liam Ryan doesnt it? He is atleast of the age profile that will see him not playing when we are back in finals contention. Atleast Jake will still be at FF in that situation

Ryan signing on for another few seasons is he not ?

Superior play Oscar?

Whos better when the ball hits the ground? Waterman
Who's better defensively? Waterman
Who's better on the lead 1 on 1? Waterman

The only advantage Oscar Allen has is his reach and maybe his kicking due to his technique.

The only reason Oscar isn't playing in chf because he is not fit enough to do so which is saying something.

50+ goals in a year is elite by anyone’s standards not just Watermans.

Seriously underrating his ability and achievements. He has hands like glue and is a great runner and good kick.

Not without reason there are other clubs sniffing around him.

Do we actually need this type of footballer? This is the spot Tim Kelly should be going to

What we need are 4 things

A winger, A winger and 2 backup wingers

Unless Liam plans on playing that spot he can stay at Richmond i think
We need a lot of what Baker brings.

Price is the sticking point. Can’t cost us TT or Lindsey

What a f**kwit.

Tigers fan, isn’t he?

Would sure explain that deal.

Yeah one of Schofields interviews he said Liam isn't going anywhere. Not sure he seems the type to uproot his life
The club needs to make some hard decisions and push player(s) out. Unfortunately if Ryan refuses to go, he still has 2 years to go on his contract so the club can't do too much until end of next year. I don't understand why the club would offer him a contract extension last off season when he was injured heaps the previous 2 seasons....just more Nisbett contracts screwing the club over

He's such a smug campaigner too. Massive jerk off.

I was almost floored yesterday when I read he was still contracted for another two years after this one..almost got floored again realising he's 'only' 27..28 in October...the guy plays like a 33 year old
