Honestly don't know what game you watch sometimes. Its like you get an idea and then roll with it week on week

What exactly was it about Brayshaw's 21 touches, 6 clearances and shut down job on Heppell that you thought he should have improved on?

Meanwhile, Hunt is still out of form but defended well and moved well. He went at 82% efficiency. He's a much better player than Wagner who spends most of his time getting in peoples way.
Brayshaw was one of our best. Good call. Not sure how anyone watching the game can say he was a negative !!

Good - The win. Something we desperately needed.

Spargo - natural footballer with great scoring nous

The second half - hard, intense, skilled, smart and dominant footy

Tom McDonald - improves our structure out of sight

Oscar McDonald - Having an amazing season

Bad - The first half. Goodwin gets it all wrong. The set up, player positioning, the message. Must bridge the gap quickly. He has to look at things in the second half and start allowing us to play that way from the get go.

Fugly - The reality. Against a good side we’d be 50 points down at half time.

The leadership. Non existent in the first half.

On Weid and ANB: 9 and 8 touches each for 4 and 5 scoring involvements. They’re not getting it done but they’re both putting in the effort and if ~50% of the time you touch the ball it’s part of a score you’re doing something right. Both worth persisting with

Couple of negatives for me were Hunt and Brayshaw.

Brayshaw I don't think is on an AFL list in 4 years. Now that the new draftee shine has worn off I think there's more negatives than positives to his game.

Jayden Hunt has regressed back to his first season crap, only plays well for a quarter and when he gets the ball just barrels it long to a turnover. Zero point him getting the ball at the moment as it just comes back again.
Hunt was horrible. Brayshaw was absolutely terrible in the first half - even though working hard just so clumsy - but improved a bit in the second half. Not enough though. I would drop him back to the twos until he can demonstrate form over a period that justifies selection.

In better news, my OMac was good again and ANB once again dreadful. I like this because it’s the opposite of your preseason waffle :D:D:D a kind of ‘reverse Topkent’. (I was trying to work out some kind of Topkent69 joke, but I couldn’t put it together and also went ‘ew’).

Brayshaw hit some great kicks. With more match fitness and confidence i think he will be able to really influence games in an unsung way.

Tyson was worse on and i am a Tyson sympathiser. He got sucked in to the middle off the wings and was no where near his oppo so many times. If the dons were more efficient he would of been responsible for a lot of goals.

The backs communicate much better and have stopped all flying for marks. They did well considering some of the space the Dons forwards had.

Jones lifted us as well in the 3rd i cant see how anyone would say he had a bad game.

We looked so much better when we worked the ball around. More of that please.

Thought it was one of Brayshaws best games. Trouble with having so many inside mids you are asking players to play roles which they might be capable of performing but aren't suited to. Being in the centre really suits him. I'd rather see him in the guts than Tyson or Salem.

You’ve talked me around on Brayshaw- I’ll watch the replay with less emotion. Also I just copped a spray from Ancient Demon on the subject...

Nah Omac and ANB have both gone about proving me horribly wrong. Kent came back to give me a little hope then did his Kent thing.

No more favorites for me, if I take a shine to Spargo he's done.

Good too see I've got some support on Hunt and Bray,

Spargo is an intense little dude isn’t he? Lives up to his slightly crazed stare - I can’t work out if he blinks less frequently then normal people or not.

Okay I’ll downgrade my Brayshaw rating for a bit. In the first quarter he made me wonder if I had left any ancient cigarettes lying around. Delist.

Spargo couldn't have done much more impressive on debut. Seems to be the perfect modern footballer.

Giving Goddard a face massage is worth a new contact already for mine.

I'll maintain if Wagner kicked the ball the way Gus did tulip would be back calling him the worst kick of all time. Naturally people want high draft picks to do well and low picks to fall over

Let’s not pretend that you don’t barrack for players to fail so you are proven right as well TK.

Yes you are correct higher picks seem to get more love from supporters. The Wagner hate in here has been over the top, each week his head is called for.

But whilst brayshaws kicking was indifferent today he offered more by shutting Heppell out of the game and winning important centre clearneces

Not at all. Happy too admit when I've been wrong on blokes. Have been before will be again. One thing I've never done is cared about where they are drafted.

Mate now you're just Sikhing an infraction. The mods may have turban you.
I’m just trying to make a Sikhnificant contribution to this board ):

Brayshaw still had 15/21 effective disposals. Kicking was scratchy but he mostly hit his targets

I was at the game so will actually watch a replay this week. I didn't notice any terrible kicking from Gus, all i can remember was when he hit up that I50 from the wing inboard on his left, which no other player in our team can do.

If you have thoughts of a players future you don't change your mind based on one game. I'd like to see that more often and against a side that isn't the worst inside midfield in the AFL.

If Wagner or Harmes kicked as badly as Brayshaw did they would be torched for pages, only because people like Brayshaw they forgive it.

Hunts disposal efficiency could be the worst Stat ever, I'm not sure a single on of his kicks went to the advantage of our players. Just because he kicks it 60m and our bloke gets a fingernail on it doesn't make it an efficient kick.
Kicks 60metres and a teammate gets a fingernail but not advantage 82% of the time. That’s pretty lucky/unlucky...? Can we start getting luck tracked as a stat? Footy lab, look into it please.
