Good: It's not often that I'm proud to go home wearing this.

CBF doing a full review, fair to say it would be mostly in the Good column. What a win!

One thing I noticed, Gawn's ruck work looks to have come on massively this year. Looks like he now knows how to throw his weight around and importantly he's now at the size where he can compete with most of the big blokes. Admittedly Hampson and Vickery aren't the best combo, but it was encouraging to see that he's now a competent ruckman.

Genuinely happy for you guys.....

The best bits of being at the bottom is watching your side crawl up from the depths.....Melbourne are certainly doing that this year.

Its been a pleasure to watch...

Nate Jones is a dead set gun ....rate him so highly in my top ten afl players in the league and deserves to be recognised for it

:thumbsu:

Edit: to the fans who stuck fat you deserve this feeling....get around your boys....at the end of the game watching your fans cheering the lads off was truly a great moment .....

Well done guys, watched you closely last week vs the Doggies and was pleasantly surprised with the attitude/pressure you were bringing to the contest. Certainly wasn't pretty, but no one can ever question your effort when you do that. Made a mental note that it wouldn't be long before you won again based on that performance.

Well, it took one match :p. Congrats and enjoy the week.

I either watched a different game or some of you blokes aren't aware what number Grimes wears. I missed the first Richmond goal, is that what all the herp a derp is about? Great defensive game from our captain. :thumbsu:

I was on the Tiger store side as they did this. There were some downright filthy Richmond supporters in front of me giving that lot the evil eye. I was about to fire up then saw them and decided I liked my head on my shoulders...
A true Cale Morton moment. :p

Defensively I didnt question him or anyone in fact, I just put him in the grouping of Terlich/ Jones.M and Bail that when we have better skilled players who can match there intensity they will go

But we have had this argument over and over so ill leave it at that

On the plus side the more these guys keep playing like that the less often the poor kicks will come because we will play more and more often to the structures that Roosy has set up for us

Edit- Theseventhhamster what was most impressive for me was he looked like he had a sense of purpose, He wanted the ball kicked to him and he wanted to win the game for melbourne

There is nothing I can criticise about his game today he played with Intent and worked hard well done son

Awesome win! Our kickouts are still shizen though, hopefully gets worked on over the break. Who will make way for Frawley when he comes back? I honestly don't know...

Was having this chat with the Old man and my thoughts are that Frawley isnt a walk up start now
In fact I think his forward experiment is over and he has to go back so its either Garland/Dunn or Tmac
My Feeling is TMac would be the most under pressure but I wouldnt say Frawley will necessarily get a game

You're clinically insane.

Sorry.

But he is an ABSOLUTE walk up start.

If he is an ABSOLUTE start then who do you drop? Its a harder discussion than we have had in years
And IMO there is no Key players who deserve to be dropped for Chip

Frawley is a better FB than McDonald, a better rebounder than Dunn, Terlich and Grimes and a better forward than Gawn. I know it's hard to drop anyone, but Frawley has to play.

Yeah you may be right but I like the fact that he can't rock up to training next week and expect a gig against PA
If he doesnt train hard and earn it on the track he won't walk into the line up

It's tough but maybe Terlich? Frawley back to defence and Garland to slot into Terlich's position playing small now he has got a few games in the legs.

Same goes for Trenners.
Trengove has never earned his spot like Chip.

Frawley FB, Garland CHB, McDonald third tall. Dunn can swing back and forward with Howe.

Other two spots for Terlich, Grimes and Jetta to fight for.
