I don't get why when Trac is having an off night we don't just play him at FF. Makes the oppo tagger useless and he is actually a nightmare matchup for oppo teams.
He's not tall and shit and need be stuck with a tall on the bench and one less midfield rotation

Yep, it is really frustrating.

Like our small/medium guys are our genuine goal scoring threats, once we have McAdam in we literally only need our talls to contest in the air and the rest will take care of itself. Instead we have everyone calling for the ball over the back, and we play one tall too many.

Play with one less tall and we could play Pickett and Trac deep or even Mcadam. Way too hard with the obligatory talls standing in space structure we roll with. Really frustrating

This is actually such a weird film. Funny story too.

It's based on a new york times article on disco, but the journalist assigned to write about it never actually went to a disco. He wasn't even american, he was a british guy, and like most journalists I guess he just made the whole thing up lol. In actual fact discos were mostly black gay dudes taking acid for days at a time, but now of course everyone thinks discos were like this italiano guy pulling funny moves in a pair of flares because that's what the white people in hollywood said it was.

And the whole movie is ****ed anyway, like it ends with travolta raping a woman and then he goes to her place a day later like "uh oh spaggethi oh, do you wanna be friends?" and she's like "yeah ok!" and the credits roll with the sun rising over manahtten, like what the actual * is that.
I’m not surprised. Most movies of that era were weirdly rapey.

Those dance scenes are legit though.

BT sums up everything that's wrong with modern footy and it's idiot supporters

About 5 mins he said Oliver had a great start and was looking starp. His first 3 disposals were a handball straight up in the air, a kick to a Richmond player standing alone which they rebounded inside 50 and a missed handball.
'best dees mid ever'

No value placed on using the ball anymore just midfielders getting stats
Honestly doesn't watch players just goes by reputations. He also said melbourne are really missing Salem as a reason we aren't taking the dangerous inside kick. Salem's kicking is the biggest misconception in the AFL.

Also watching ANZAC day they've made a big build up to Pendlebury's 10,000 disposal. Honestly who cares. The only thing is you know Pendlebury rarely waste them.

Disco - clutch goals from distance, energy after his and team mates goals was infectious and important, even out-marked grimes and that handball to fritch!

May and lever - would have been down 5 goals at half time without them.

Kozzie - 20, 2 goals, pressure (real and perceived), workrate to close down space and force the ball into intercept possessions. The different mix he gives in the middle

Langdon - nearing 2021 form. Impacts more than stats show when he plays like this.

Fritchs snap from 45ish on his right, at speed, under pressure, off a couple of steps... There are only a handful of players in the whole league who could do that. Absolute thing of beauty that gets better everytime you watch it.

Clarry nailing a couple of tackles that resulted in goals to us that could have ended up down the other end. Thought he was out best mid.

Laurie's the super sub. Reconfirms that there is something there, still don't have confidence he can produce it against the better teams but encouraging.

Rivdog and Howes down back. So reliable and they both have a nice closing speed and height about them. Going to be interesting when both Bowey and Salem are fit again.

Max being him

Petracca working through the tag

Bad - first half fumbles, woey giving up on the chase of a tiger going into the forward 50. Player was only a couple of metres away and then borked another player, woey then went to go again but was too late. Inexplicable. Luckily he redeemed himself with the tackle on dusty. Ate a high fendoff but hung on and then copped a little dirty fallback slam. Gave dusty a mouthful as he went back for his free kick, bit of mungrel bastard and chippiness about him.

Fugly - first half kicking to tigers players in a Paddock of their own. Legitimately could be investigated for match fixing. Cannot think of another reason that fits.
