Good keep it that way!
I hate all the trade pick scenario's .....seems an awful waste of time, and rarely achieves anything

But I get the need ....we have one poster on the SuperCoach Board, that raises 27 different trade scenarios in a week ....it's a brain stretcher to keep up with his thought process .....but he's very good, and a great lateral thinker

Perhaps you should spend more time on there and leave us at peace

Im guessing its either draper or lalor depending which one is still on the board

On SM-G996B using BigFooty.com mobile app

I think Lalor is a choice made up by this board

Haven’t heard us linked to him at all - Smilie and Langford, Draper all yes. Suspect it comes form that group

Wayne's immune because he's a mod.
I took criticism with a statement he made.
Instead of responding about my counterfact, he decided to suggest my entire bigfooty posting history is worthless and incorrect, and go personal.

Deserves a ban in my book.
Yeah but you’re only trying to be cool 🙄

Sad to lose Unspent Cap Space from our playing list but ANB, Cumming and Peatling will have to do

Does this mean we can finally retire the War Chest?!

After sitting on it for 15 years, the compound interest alone should account for half our salary cap!

Use pick 4 on a star midfield prospect and you'll get a "we're going to win a flag" response from me. Until then, I'm quite content with solid with how this off-season is going. On the field, it's potentially solving Adelaide's short-term needs without fuss or fanfare, which has been rare. It's been either feast (signing Dawson, Betts or Rankine) or famine (every other year) at the trade table. Off-field, bringing in a coach from a team that just won a premiership is always a tick in my book, alongside retaining Burgess.

It's hard to be genuinely excited with this off-season without seeing the result of pick 4 and the rest of the draft though. After all, the number 1 need is another star midfielder prospect to pair with Soligo/Dawson/Rankine and maybe Curtin/Edwards. Pick a key defender or forward and all of the above is for moot. Equally, I'd be quite disappointed if we worked ourselves into a corner where we couldn't select Tyler Welsh which is certainly possible with the Peatling addition.

We will definitely pick a mid with pick 4 - take that to the bank
And we will definitely pick Welsh.

Probably the only 2 live picks we take

Current coaching structure and changes:

Matthew Nicks - Senior Coach
Murray Davis - Coaching Director (New)
Scott Burns – Forwards and Senior Assistant Coach
Nathan van Berlo – Midfield Coach
Jack Hombsch – Backs Coach

Matthew Wright – Development Coach -> SANFL Senior Coach
Michael Godden – SANFL and Coach Development -> Player and Coach Development
Marco Bello – Head of Development
Chelsea Randall – Development Coach
Andrew McPherson – Development Coach
I thought Bello was going to take on a new role in Victoria somewhere?

Actually a bit of a shame to miss out on the 20-40 area of this draft but can’t complain about the acquisitions

Re pick 4 , not sure we will get an elite mid in this draft but it will definitely be a good one

Why exactly would the club telegraph to the media who the player on top of their list is this far out from the draft?

There would only be a select few at the club that know that and even then a lot can change with more intense interviews and family meets.

Why ..?

Surely Houston has got a voice in where he plays next year
If his objective is to break his Contract to get back to Melbourne .....he doesn't get to choose the Club in VIC

He has no voice in the matter, it's Port that have to be satisfied
