Just say Judd agrees to go to Richmond and WC gets pick 2 off Richmond how is that nothing? Richmonds inital offer is the pick 2 & 18 for Morton deal, which was reported in the media tonight. But seeing as it is a negotiation WCE could ask for pick 19 as well and send Morton and pick 30 to Richmond.

Effectively they would get Morton and pick 30 for 19 and would get Judd in the PSD which is effectively picks 2 & 18. Seems as though logic is not a great strength amongst some Carlton fans either. As I said before until is it all signed, sealed and delivered nothing is done.

There was strong speculation that Carlton and West Coast would complete a trade for the 2004 Brownlow Medallist as early as Tuesday.

But the Blues put out a media release early this evening to say the negotiations were continuing.

"This is to confirm the confidential discussions are continuing and no further comment will be made at this stage," the club said.
