+ Sheed is so consistent. Him, Venables, and Shuey are going to be very nice next year.
+ There's still a chance Mitch might play on. Making that above combo even more potent.
- It's more likely Priddis will play on, making the above combo less likely.

Positives:
+ Vardy is the GOAT
+ Gaff was excellent
+ Sheed was excellent
+ Mackenzie continued his great form
+ Mitchell, despite getting caught holding the ball 3-4 times, had a great game
+ Nathan Fyfe is a poor man's Elliot Yeo
+ Karpany played a great game
+ Jetta played well
+ Darling played a great game
+ Petrie played a great game. Sorry Jimmy_the_Gent, but currently, Petrie > McInnes
+ Shuey, despite having iffy disposal at times, had a good game.
+ We won on the road against quality opposition
+ Gov was good
+ Barrass was great in some aspects and terrible in others, but overall, I thought he had a good game
+ Mark Hutchings did well on Johannisen
+ We dominated the clearances against one of the best contested sides in the comp.
+ Redden played well
+ The umpires were phenomenal.
+ Delicious meltdowns on the Bulldogs board
+ Overall, a great game by everyone.

Negatives:
- Masten was meh.
- Our (non-injured) small defenders were kind of meh.
- More ****ing injuries

+ The Vardy Party. Steal of the year.
+ Mitchell, please play on next year. Nic Nat deserves it.
+ Karpany showing some nous around goals and a level head. Liking very much.
+ Redden played reasonably well in his natural position. Deserves a few more games in the guts to see if he can kick on.
+ Sheed in a really good stretch of form. A+ mid is not out of his reach in the future.
+ Shuey Leading by example as Captain.
+ The King returns to some good form.
+ We beat those campaigners for the second time this year.
+Their supporters booing at the end of the game was delicious. Were they booing us or their own mob? Don't know, don't care.
+ We hung on and won in Melbourne. Good for the boys to get a close one and away from home to boot.
+ Mackenzie coming back into form. Still has a spot in this side moving forward for me. Do not want to lose him next year. Barrass takes some great marks but has a lot to learn about one on one defending still.

- Some sloppy play and horrendous decisions in the last quarter.
- Masten was dead set average and even his team mates were reluctant to pass him the pill.
- Tom Cole looks knackered and might need a spell in the two's. Still looks a player but struggled today a little.
-Not enough Boooooooos
Who said our players lack a football brain.
Masten was dead set average and even his team mates were reluctant to pass him the pill.

Cole injured I suspect.
What I liked about Duggan is that I didn't notice him - he did his job and was very solid but didn't cause a major blunder that I saw

Apologies. Interpret it as I'm more looking forward to seeing someone else come into the side due to the injury rather than I'm relishing in the injury itself.

Full disclosure - i'm kinda glad Lecca's injury led to Karps inclusion (and hopefully cementing of his spot), same with if Redden manages to claim Pridda's spot.

I think I am just typing what other's may be thinking - again not celebrating the certain injuries but hoping that the inclusions you may wish to see result from it.
Fair enough.

The other two tho don't have career ending injury and are being listed as injured even tho they could actually play.

Positive - Sam Mitchell gave my nephew a ball after the game. :)

+ VARDYYYYY, we have a knack of getting the best out of our talls I reckon
+ Shuey as captain
+ Gaff, Sheed
+ Darling still did a lot right while having some interesting brain fade moments. (3 goals & 3 goal assists)
+ We won the clearances 45-29 (priddis who? Just kidding...but srs)

- More injuries
- Panicky last quarter - we do this a lot

Is it wrong I look at who got the injuries and think... oh well.

Butler is depth and Wellingham having a mare of a season.

I see it as opportunity to bring in someone like parto

Negative - the AFL site highlights only include one of Karpany's goals and none of the build up. I missed the first three quarters and I want to see the delivery!

Ezy was at his very best again. Looked confident turning at speed and hand were solid again.

-if we won those 2 games under a goal in the last couple mins. Would be looking like a top 4 lock

Ezy getting his form back as lockdown defender has been important for our structures. So happy for him.

2nd Week in a row Gaff has been =top of contested possesions for our mids.
Starting to really add that area to his game which is great.

Kicking still needs a bit of tidying up though.

Darling was immense today, put in a heap of effort, never ducked his head, never shirked a contest and always provided an option.
Does this each week and the football world will be singing his praises.

Another positive: I think we're playing a style of footy the last few weeks that will hold up well at the G. Genuinely excited for our next opportunity to play there.
