Since Crow-eater has pretty much summed it up, I won't bother doing it myself but I'll respond to any questions.

Many thanks for the photos .....this time of year with no footy you really hang-out for training reports and photos :thumbsu:

Is it me or is Jenkins a real focol point around the club and at training?
For someone who 12 months ago was just of Essendons rookie list ......he seems to be one of those players that draws your attention

Players like Talia/Smith/Tambling/McKernan .....always seem to be in the background rather than the focus of attention

Just thinking that we've been talking about needing extra outside mid speed ......and we keep forgetting what Martin has been capable of

In his first few games he was really carrying the ball and taking the opposition on ......then since his Knee he did do it again against the Saints in the last game of 2011 .....but rarely since

If we COULD get Tambling and Martin to run and carry more .....i think problem could be solved

For those track watchers could you give us some feedback on those 2?

If we could get Smith to a defensive wing ...Mackay off HB ....Martin on the attacking wing ...gee that adds some real speed.

Van Berlo to take Doughty's HBF ....and Kerridge to Smiths HBF ....looking good people

Sorry and i forgot to add Brown in that list who also has a bit of toe :thumbsu:

There are definitely differences in personality, the one who stood out the most to me was Tex, although that wasn't unexpected. He enjoyed trash talking to the other team during the tug of war, even asked them whether they were going to put up a challenge. Others who I noticed were more vocal and didn't mind sharing a few words with the supporters were Jacobs, Sloane, Callinan and Douglas. I was actually surprised with Dougie as I always had him in mind as being really serious, but he's quite the opposite, at one point during the tug of war he asked an elderly lady if she'd like to join in.:D

WW - you've left out the most dangerous one when it comes to pace IMO. (besides Danger, who will typically be bursting out).

Hendomania. He covers the ground better than any of the ones you've mentioned IMO. Really keen to see him off a wing or flank for the full season - defensively causes havoc with how he can get to the contest and absolutely burns off his man when heading back towards goals as well.

Interesting that you'd mention him because although he was there he didn't actually participate in any of the drills, didn't look like there was anything wrong with him though. He'd be one of my first choices for the wing, like you said he covers the ground well, but he's also dangerous just beyond the fifty and he has that knack of running into space when the team transitions from defence to attack.

I think he is recovering from a hand/finger injury. That would explain why he didn't participate in the outside drills as they were basically carrying or pulling drills that could hurt his recovery.

Did he do anything else then? Because he had his training gear on like the others.

He done nothing outside but probably other work inside when his group went inside. I assume there were 4 stations that the groups rolled through and running/cardio would have been involved in them. I know one of the stations was boxing which he wouldn't have joined in.

Thanks, I hadn't thought of that possibility; of him doing cardio work inside. I just assumed they were all boxing.

His spinning snap from 55 in the prelim was one of the greatest footy moments I've experienced. Has x-factor.
