The Crows went all out and hammered Butters in the first term last week, if sore, perhaps he plays wing.
Not a bad idea at all. Butters has definitely dropped off since the bye, so moving him out of the midfield would not be too catastrophic. And he would do a better job on the wing than Wines, who needs to be in the midfield rotation or sitting in the stands.

I'm not sure the return of Duursma is really a core issue. He gets back well and also goes forward and kicks a goal, I think he just needs more time and I guess when you're 14-2 they decided it could be in the seniors.

lol did you see us play yesterday? And we’ve lost Blicavs and Hawkins on top of that.

Rozee and Butters will combine for 70+ and 3+ goals.
Lost Blicavs and Hawkins you say, well you sir are staring down the barrel of a 40+ point victory. The moment this team hears the opposition is weakened they shit the bed, so you'll be sweet.

LOL at people wanting seven changes and to play the kids. We are second on the ladder FFS just calm your collective ****.

It will be
OUT: Jones, McEntee
IN: Rioli, Boak
SUB: Bonner

or the like
The changes won't matter, the rot has set in, stop telling people to calm down, the club deserves no such thing as calmness after the shit they are putting out.

Hiya Cookbook.

Here's how I see it.

General squad questions:

1. I am concerned with Wines and where to play him. If he plays inside, he takes another better midfielders spot but he doesn't have a good second spot to play. I like the idea of Horne-Francis up forward but I would love to try him on the wing. Drew stays as tagger and should have tagged Dawson out of the game last week. Butters to keep doing what he is doing. He's been real good without being spectacular recnelty. I would also consider running Powell-Pepper in the middle for a quarter a game to see what is up.

2. I think Finlayson and Marshall have been good this year. Finn's form has been down recently.

3. Dixon and Lycett need a holiday to Club Med. Get themselves a massage and a pina colada. They were breaking down at the break but it didn't help.

4. I am not a fan of McEntee and I think Milera ran off him like a broken ballpoint pen. Byrne-Jones I will give a bit more leniency to but I am watching. Rioli is automatic 23. I like Evans because he has nuggety power, goal sense and plays like a junkyard dog.

5. Duursma is playing decently well. Boak and Wines doesn't seem to translate to the wings. It is almost cruel to put Wines on the wing. I am not a fan of Bonner on the wing, he doesn't work hard enough. Horne-Francis could be given a taste out there. Jase Burgyone too. And even Sinn. Also Narkle.

6. I like the overall look of our defence but it does need help. It is a bit too offensive minded but that is what the coaching staff wants. It means if we win the midfield, we look ace and if we lose it, they are caught out time and time again. And as you know, transition rebound off half back is not the defence's problem, it is a midfield, running backwards, working hard both ways problem.

It has to be one of the weirdest years ever. Just so much going on.

Before the bye we were starting to play some good attacking footy & using the ball well going forward. We actually won a few games with lower inside 50 numbers.
But we have had so many wet games we have reverted to the hoist it long on Dixons head approach for slim returns.
One of many problems sadly.
It will probably be pissing down at Geelong this week.

No Aliir no defence and we are staring at another 40 point loss. Looks like Hawkins is out but we still need a tall defender. Maybe Finlayson to pinch hit? I cringe at the thought of us going to the Cattery with Jonas and McKenzie as our KPPs.

As usual the PAFC injury list is not worth a wet crumpet. Lycett is not even listed as being managed so what is his situation this week? If Lycett is fit why not play both Lycett and Visentini with Dixon up forward?

Who are our defenders besides Jonas playing in the SANFL? They can't be worse than Jonas..

Kyle Marshall and Jake Pasini are the two other KPDs.

Given Hawkins isn't playing with his hamstring I would be opposed to going with Pasini - he surely couldn't do any worse than Jonas.

bergman with strain , allir concussion ,jones concussion , lycett knee , dixon knee , butters carrying groin, jhf with back, so many out and or banged up, hard to be positive now, shocking week for club, failing on so many levels this week.
