We don't need it.we will probably be dismissed again this week, by the sports media - Carlton will still be seen as flag favourites
Every time this team gets talked up they crap themselves.

Ill take 3 premierships in 4 years to be in a rebuild.Richmond is in the worst place you want to be with your list, where your age and experience profile is cratering but you still have to churn through your experienced guys. They're about where we were 2017-18.
sadly that seems to be very true.We don't need it.

I think our boys get a boost when they are acknowledgedWe don't need it.

To be honest, he’s the number 1 forward. He’s expected to have a bit more attention.Yes until Amiss builds up the body size he needs protection.
Jackson early on this season commanded a number 1. He hasn't been able to hold a mark since round 3.To be honest, he’s the number 1 forward. He’s expected to have a bit more attention.
Thought Tabs took a lot of pressure from him. Since Tabs went out, Amiss has struggled a bit- the West Coast game he already had 2 v 1 early.
Tabs acted as the perfect decoy- had Weitering and Ratuoglea as direct opponents.
Just feel Treacy and Jackson don’t command a number 1 defender. Perhaps add Voss?
But we did.that we often don't win lol
Exactly.Jackson early on this season commanded a number 1. He hasn't been able to hold a mark since round 3.
We will only be drafting one in Rd 1,. the other two picks will be to bring in experience. We cant be a nursery every year. We'll be in such a strong position for the long term if we supplement this young core with three more first round pick talent, particularly more forward talent. Our history shows a huge trend for drafting success - and trading misses - so let's not try to defy history, use that great draft hand. Point is, don't throw it away on Logan McDonald and/or Baker (unless we can somehow get either by not parting with that hand)
Serong is an impressive speaker with the media. Speaks like a future captain.

They are trying to figure out what to do with Jackson, he was a centre bounce mid today while Darcy was rucking, noticed it at least once, can’t remember if they repeated it.Exactly.
Amiss does more damage with the marks/kicks he does.
Really have to push the case for Voss. Feels like he’s more threatening, makes defenders afraid/unsure- exactly like Treacy has been. Jackson doesn’t seem to be that dominant in the air.
Jackson just feels like he should be midfield, wing, roaming around in the Blicavs role
They have been out since first game. Can't kick from 40m anymore from your sample size of 1? He had a quiet game sure, but I wasn't expecting the knives to be out so fast.

This is not true. Everytime we are pumped up by the media we get soft and turn to shit.I think our boys get a boost when they are acknowledged
He’s not a pigeon hole player- can’t just play him as a ruck/forward. Just limiting his abilities. They are trying to figure out what to do with Jackson, he was a centre bounce mid today while Darcy was rucking, noticed it at least once, can’t remember if they repeated it.
We stay a nursery as long as experienced players who are best 22 keep leaving, replacing them with draftees.
If that can stop happening, the experience comes from within with a core that grows together, and having draftees lined up behind them is only a good thing.
That said, I’d be okay using one of the picks to bring in quality but would love to draft 2 first rounders at least.
Seems to have become a bit of an escaped goat with some weirdly criticising him today. I thought it was a massive step up and encouragingly was because he got to play in his best role. Primed to take Fyfes spot when neededJohnson has been superb in this game…best game for the club
But then there is one thing we all know for certain ... if D.King is calling it, it won't happen.David King "Carlton will be holding up the cup come September"
