From other game commentary, most successful teams are concentrating on securing the turnover then moving the ball as fast as possible on the break to unsettle the teamwork of the back 6. The Shemons model. Shemons only advantage over other clubs is that their rucks both, drop back and, push forward to intercept / target positions really well. The Rucks effectively play 3 positions.

The counter is an angle change in transition. We can see that the Tigers are WIP on this. Fumbles will be costly. Likewise, mental lapses at the start and end of quarters. The heat will be on early next week again. We will need to be mentally strong. Represent on the field and in the crowd on Dreamtime day.

I'm a Mansell fan, so he comes in next week. George was loose in the top paddock again, see ya! Might be that Mansell is sub and Edwards plays.

Dimma says Biggie stays but the Tarrant conversation will be had.

Mate TBH, Dimma was out coached by Mitchell today. He came in with a plan that almost rolled us.

Our top end is streets ahead of theirs, the fact they were in the game until the end is a worry

Dimma does my head in sometimes with his stubbornness he needs good support coaches to take the blinkers off. Leaving Balta up forward when we our defense was drowning earlier in the year is a good example but as long as we're getting the wins I can let it go

Just got home.
Firstly well done hawthorn. Sam Mitchell is a genius. How he can get that list to be so competitive is beyond me.
They have only been poor in one game this season be saints.
Everyone knows their role and they actually play good footy to watch.
Tom Lynch is in beast mode now. Best footy he has played since his Gold Coast days.
I’ve been a critic of Pickett over the journey but he is easily best 22. Superb game.
Broad continues to be underrated.
Nank is a beast.
Jack Riewoldt is moving the best he has for three years.
