Not that I disagree but at this stage of the season we rarely make unforced changes especially after a win. Can’t see them dropping their love child Castagna

Yeah true but the side still looks unsettled to me. Anyway sounds like Stack copped an injury from what’s been posted. George probably lives another week and if he’s in against GC can’t see him getting dropped against north

And if he does get suspended then I will have no complaints.

We do dumb s**t like this all the time and give team free goals - Nick is a repeat offender too.

Sick of it.

Yeah was disappointing bc we seem to have largely cut that crap out recently. It always seems to come when the oppos have a run on so we just compound the pressure by gifting them an easy one. Undisciplined, needs to be better than that. We can’t afford any **** ups from here on in.

Regarding Edwards, I’ve noticed his role has changed and he’s playing deeper fwd now as a crumbing fwd which has been great for him and the side. He’s not getting exposed playing higher having to cover huge territory with power running.

Happy with his output the past several games

Thanks for that, now that its a confirmed strain, you'd think he wont play against North the following week either at least and likely not against Freo either. Damn, ah well can't take any risks with him - if we battle into a good position by the time he comes back, we'll be flying with him in the side

Short term it says. That usually means 1 or 2 weeks.

The club is calling it a short-term injury, which is normally the term they use for a 1-2 week injury. My guess is won't play GC or North and will come back against Freo.

Gibcus butchered it but so did Vlastuin. No ones calling for Vlastuin to get dropped.

I'd only drop Gibcus if he pulls up sore. He's getting the ball just learning composure.

It might be as simple this week as in: Prestia, Out: Martin.

So we now have Cotchin , Dusty & Balta out until after the Norf games

Its time for the Sonz

From memory, we’re ranked 18th for tackle efficiency (something like 56%). It’s very evident when watching us play.

Yes, we make 2 x major errors when tackling :

1. Our players rush too fast at the ball carrier, making them easy to side step.

2. Our players lose their feet. As soon as you go to your knees in a tackle you lose your strength and can be shrugged.

I can only assume these things are being worked on, as if we can’t improve our tackling effectiveness no way are we beating Melbourne.
