Again one of the most notable traits of our play recently is our inability to keep our feet. When did we get Puma as a sponsor, seems their boots are either useless or our guys just have exceptionally bad balance.

Also just another observation, they say you make your own luck, can't remember another season when the bounce of the ball has managed to elude our guys so regularly and in most cases this occurs when we outnumber the opposition but somehow the ball falls to their advantage.

Also if we shank a kick, 99 times out of 100 it goes to the oppos and results in a turnover score. When the opposition shanks a kick it somehow still seems to end up to their advantage, maybe it's just a result of watching this horrid season and in my mind trying to come up with other factors for our predicament outside of us being clueless, skilless, lazy, slow and disinterested.

End result is about what I expected before the game.

Disappointed with the first and last quarters, was good to see us not drop our bundle during the middle 2 quarters which we could have easily done and copped a right old 20 goal reaming.

Changes for next week are interesting. We have the VFL side in a do or die final and we can have the likes of Bauer Blight Coulthard & Trezise all eligible to play in that game and give them a good chance of progressing in the VFL finals or we keep say Bauer Blight & Trezise in the seniors and worry about VFL finals the week after should they beat Williamstown.

Personally I'd be picking our best possible 23 for the AFL game and be looking to win the game to finish the season on a positive.

It is simply incredible how shockingly skilled our players are. Blind Fred can see Taranto, Hopper, Prestia and Nank are vile users of the ball. We will never progress with them in the team. In the afl you cannot play guys that can’t handball and kick you simple cannot wake up RFC !

Terrific 4 year period, to our worst season of the modern era. Blame it on injuries all you want, but we are so far off the mark it's not funny. Our club is in free fall and no one there gives a shit. Our CEO quit halfway through the season and we still have no idea who's replacing him.

Hard to take much from that effort. Bauer has something, HRS and Mansell have come on…but not much else. We’re comfortably the worst list at the moment, need to trade whatever we can and try to reload with a new list. We’ve seemed devoid of spirit all year, new coach deserves a break but we wouldn’t want to producing efforts like this at this stage in 2025 or he won’t make it through 2026
