I think young forward would be worth a try. Hopefully they leave Miller back and let him establish himself Wonder what stage Bruer is atSo what are our options now? Lefau, Ryan, Naismith & Kosi. Maybe bring in grimes and try Young forward

I think we need to give Kosi another chance …. Not like there’s much choiceLynch out for 10+ weeks and Balta out for 5 weeks. I’m not waiting for Lynch to come back after the debacle last year.
Are we really supposed to have Ryan and Kosi as our main tall targets up forward for the next 5 weeks? Ryan I can handle, but I’ve given up on Kosi tbh. He seems to be struggling at VFL level, let alone AFL level.
Perhaps we go with Naismith in the ruck and Nankervis/Ryan up forward. Nankervis can win a contested mark, so maybe he’s our solution. We can then pick up Archie May in the mid-season draft.
I thought brown grew over summer is now 206cm?Good thing Tom brown is 202cm tall so can play key forward
No current season stats available
Nah…Kosi was pretty insipid in the vfl…2 points (getable) and didn’t offer much elseI think we need to give Kosi another chance …. Not like there’s much choice
The one tall forward worked before because Riewoldt was elite and an all time great.OK Guys and Gals. Terrible news on the injury front today and I'm sure we are all feeling a bit down after such a high yesterday. However crisis creates opportunity. I'm loving what Adem Yze is doing with his in-game changes. Not scared to throw the magnets around. Logic would say we have to bring in 2 talls up forward to replace Lynch and Balta. But do we ? Me thinks Yze might just go to a wildcard plan B. More speed and being unpredictable in the forwardline. High pressure swarming smalls, 1 or 2 big body mid size contested marking forwards and only the 1 big forward. A semi throwback to 2017. My gut says Yze and the match committee might just have the courage to do something outrageous. It's gonna be a helluva ride. Go Tiges.
I’ll give that he had a better game against Sydney in the VFL yesterday, but he just seems like a mile off competing at AFL level. His marking, his efforts, his kicking in front of goal etc. aren’t AFL standard. He’ll just end up a liability if he brings that to AFL level.I think we need to give Kosi another chance …. Not like there’s much choice
Archie May from our VFL side would be worth a look IMOThe one tall forward worked before because Riewoldt was elite and an all time great.
Kosi/Ryan/Lefau as our sole KPFs and we'll have absolutely zero structure.
We're stuck between a rock and a hard place now.
Any under 23 KPF prospects in the MSD?
Agree with all of this. Nank / Ryan / Naismith and pickup someone in the MSD.Lynch out for 10+ weeks and Balta out for 5 weeks. I’m not waiting for Lynch to come back after the debacle last year.

Yze said Grimes would be back in…I think it will give us a chance to mix things up particularly with our tallsI don't see why Grimes has to come in. Balta has been playing forward/ruck...
Kozi in.
I'd rather see Naismith in than Ryan. Alternate cray and Nank. It won't work, but we need a bigger body than Ryan.
Ryan has more experience playing forward as wellNaismith is there in case Nank goes down, I can't see the value in playing him ahead of Ryan who we need to have more of a look at anyway. He has gone well when in the ruck at AFL level, remember last year when he had one of the highest hit out to advantage percentages in the comp.
While he's been pretty uninspiring I guess that this is part of the reason we acquired Kosi, key forward depth. Again we need to see if he's worth persisting with at all. He wasn't as bad as the stat sheet would suggest in the VFL, if he had his kicking boots on he could've ended with 3 or 4. You would think he would be keen as mustard to try and take his chance with the knowledge he will probably get a chunk of games if he is picked next week.
This is assuming we want to keep the same structure. Martin as the FF in place of Lynch could be equally as effective or better than Kosi. If Grimes is fit do we think about Broad forward or something? At least he can take a grab and will compete and you're not stunting the development of Miller, Young, Brown.
Whatever the case we will at least find out about a few players over the next month I think.
