Jack Ross very underrated game!! Was hard at the ball, tackles stuck, and got his hands free in the tackle everytime.. cleaned up his disposal too!
Very impressed with his return!

also on a side note, hope that makes jack graham hungry as ever to train his ass off and get back in the side!

put him in the guts. Can win it and knows how to free the arms to get the handball off

and he’s built like the proverbial brick shithouse

I’m rewatching the game with the channel 7 commentary... 🤮

for everyone that didn’t watch the game with tigercast podcast special comments missed out! Was brilliant, biased and damn right funny! Make sure you guys tune in next time they do it, refreshing! 🐯
Or if you want to watch the replay with our comments / banter here is the link to our audio.

Click play and off you go.

May need to pause the game before the start of each quarter to re sync the audio and visual but will be worth it.

two weeks in a row. Happens next game I’m calling a trend

fair call. just reckon it was different tonight wallis got all his goals by total fails in the middle rather than good play himself. tony greene is ****en elite, but shit players like milkcheck and hoskin elliott do seem to tear us apart for no apparent reason

Stack needs to stay in the side and get some continuity, the same that Daniel Rioli was gifted for God knows how long.
heck we have won a LOT of games with Rioli buzzing around the fwd line doing the unfancy stuff and leading the team for pressure acts. Everyone here whips him but the coach loves him.

Hmmm who to believe.

I think he's passed him this season, been thinking it for weeks.

There was a time you could argue Grimes was clearly the better pure defender on opponents from the biggest to the smallest, but Rance had too much on him for rebound.

I think he's definitely narrowed the gap even more on that score this year, which for me, combined with his leadership and dedication to the cause, puts him ahead overall.

And one more thing Ray: Grimer takes talls AND smalls. Just ask Betts and Cameron. Massive games where he totally decimated them.

Grimes is an outright superstar. Will go down as one of our legends.

I think the only change should be Stack for Vlastuin. It's an unlucky change as I don't think any player deserves to get dropped but can't leave Vlastuin out if he is fit. For the Port game there will probably be a few changes just due to the short turnaround and will give chances for RCD, Stack, Dow, CCJ etc. to get some time in.

You’re spot on. Seems to be a little chink in the armor. I’m not 100% on it but there seems to be these little skilful goal kicking forwards that cause us some problems

I think that was Bakers best game

Forgot to mention Baker with so many playing great games, was very good.

He's got great sticky hands and positioning, really plays above his size in aerial contests, great pace and endurance, his ball using is steadily improving and he's great in and under.

Terrific for the team's future to have blokes who should end up playing on-ball one day serving the good old fashioned apprenticeship down back. :thumbsu:

This. Rioli is clearly best 22 when fit and confident, he’s out of confidence at the moment, I hope for his sake it can come back quickly. He’s a 2 time premiership player for a reason and I really am sick of people bagging the shit out of him. He does the small stuff that people miss. Tonight Stack did that and oh look people bag him. If this were a normal year of football Stack and Egg would not be dropped and I hope the two of them don’t get dropped next week, however it’s not a normal year of football and someone will most probably be omitted next week, not sure who though, hopefully not Stack and/or Egg, I don’t want to see either of them dropped.

Stacky looks horribly out of shape.
Needs to spend more time dancing on TikTok.

second year blues. plus a ****ed up
Way to enter then system backed up off a ****ing one in a hundred year event.

Imagine if it was somewhat normal

Covered that mate, read back. ;)

In fairness Rance seldom played on smalls so has a smaller sample size to judge, but he was never a comparable lockdown defender to Grimes on anyone significantly bigger or nippier for mine.

Wha a night. Tiges win and I had the vc on macrae in superCoach.
best

Me too tug, but Gawn V Ladhams could be a potential 400+ point extravaganza if Lycett doesn't play again.

Ryder absolutely took him to the cleaners, Gawn could set a new record.

Tough choice I reckon.
