As the players mature, they adapt to different roles.
When Higgins started he was on the receiving end, as an outside, scoring remarkable goals, etc.
Now he develops and does more selfless work for the team, breaking open packs to create ground ball opportunities.
A loose ball in the forward line is worth its weight in gold.
Certainly no one deserves to be omitted.
I've been harsh personally on Markov but he did enough.
Vlaustin would replace Stack.

Vlas won’t return from a strained ćalf in one week , forget it

I don't know why I keep seeing posts on here saying he strained his calf, he just had tightness/soreness in it after a short turn around
I haven't seen anything to suggest he actually did any damage to it

I wrote "would" as in possible.
Vlaustin for Stack if Vlaustin is fit.
Short played well, five contested possessions, starting to gain confidence.
Stack didn't do much, eight disposals, only one contested.
Rest Cotchin against Port, if he is being managed.

Brisbane Lions obviously have major plans for Berry.
Played off half back flank last year.
Now developing as a mid to forward.

Just saw the injury report.

Vlastuin will play on Tuesday.
Caddy likely to play against Port next Saturday.
Houli as we know we play against GC
Nank coming along well, i wouldn't at all be surprised if he lines up against the Bombers on Aug 22nd.

Dion is slightly behind Nank. Astbury by what i read not coming along to well so guess anything from 2-4 weeks at a minimum.

For the full report here's the link.

Noah Balta this week's unsung hero

Richmond: Noah Balta

It’s unfortunate for teams when they’re struck with injury, but for the next generation it presents an opportunity and that’s exactly what happened to Richmond on Thursday night. With 10 players having less than 30 games experience, the Tigers were written off, but 17-gamer Noah Balta was going to make sure that didn’t happen. A pillar in defense for the Tigers, Balta looked years beyond his experience comfortably manning the defensive 50. Balta collected 15 touches, five rebound 50s, took 4 marks and laid three tackles as the Tigers cemented their spot in the top eight with a 41-point victory.
