You’ve always got to proud of the boys when they beat Carlton. I believe we should have won by more if it wasn’t trying to be so cute in wet weather conditions.
Clarke was a liability after quarter time and is still a work in progress. Junior needs to be played before him as he’s way more advanced. He even brought Sheds into the game in the last quarter as suddenly the Blues small defenders actually had an opponent. On Sheds he still has the skills and footy nous, but he lacks strength in the torso, no power in the legs and reflexes of a giraffe. He’s basically done now and we won’t win many games against better opponents if he’s trotting around. Tarrant can just piss off as he can’t move off a stationary position quick enough and can’t jump which makes him near enough to useless as a tall has over a metre in height on him. Need to play Miller now before it gets ugly. Prestia and Baker were the standouts and Graham hammered hard all night.
Geelong next week will be an interesting conundrum.
