The official explanation as to why the snicko thing wasn't used for dustys goal just highlights the level of corruption we cop...

View attachment 1406183

In English this means : “ultra edge didn’t show it hitting the post so we needed a way to make sure we didn’t embarrass the goal umpire or give Martin and Richmond a goal”…..

What a disgrace … I can’t actually believe that reasoning. Maybe there was no spike on ultra edge because it didn’t hit the friggin post! How on earth would anyone know a spike didn’t register because of crowd noise and it being too high..?? AFL are genuinely corrupt.

flipping cheating campaigners , remember they used it in QF v lions shai kicked one of the best goals of all time , called a goal , overturned by snick a meter in a final 4q crowd at feverpitch ,,,, I smell a rat

Remember Edwards before he was far from being a three-time premiership player? we need that same investment in stack.

Stack is one of the least deserving of that level of investment.

Constant off-field problems, constant conditioning problems. Edwards was a pro from day 1 and did the team things all the time. Stack's career is where its at because of himself. FFS Syd played his first 17 games straight before injury hit - he was given the keys & he threw them in the river

We're going to have to play a smaller forwardline for at least the next week which is going to rely on Jack being the centerpoint. He hasn't needed to do that role for a full game for quite some time. It would mean that Dusty/Bolton and the Nank/Soldo rotations will become far more crucial too.

Another possibility is that we bring in Ralph-Smith as a mid sized target. He has proven that he has excellent goal sense and was very damaging in the air and in setting up others when he played in that role at VFL level in the past. He could also take up the Lambert role if required.

Stack was excellent in the VFL game too. If we're going smaller in F50, Stack would give us the defensive pressure and X-Factor to cause the opposition defense huge headaches.

Edwards looks like he's struggling to play our games atm and Pickett needs to return. Aarts can make way as sub for Edwards.

So my changes would be -

Out: Lynch, Lambert, Aarts

In: Ralph-Smith, Stack, Pickett

Sub: Edwards

If Lynch is out bring in Cumdog

Then Graham for Lambert… SCG so we can have Ross/Graham in same team.

Votes for Parish :straining: Never heard of those two judges

Judges' voting (in order of their 3, 2, 1 votes):

Andrew Krakouer – Yokayi Footy Show (Chair):
Dion Prestia (Richmond), Liam Baker (Richmond), Jack Riewoldt (Richmond).
Luke Darcy – Channel 7: Dion Prestia (Richmond), Liam Baker (Richmond), Daniel Rioli (Richmond).
Jess Webster – ABC: Dion Prestia (Richmond), Liam Baker (Richmond), Darcy Parish (Essendon).
Josh Gabelich – AFL Media: Dion Prestia (Richmond), Liam Baker (Richmond), Darcy Parish (Essendon).
Jess is a fanatical bombers fan

I was trying to work out how umpiring corruption can be proven … and whilst I don’t believe it’s blatant cheating instructed from above, there’s no doubt a decent amount of ‘wink, wink’, ‘nudge, nudge…. make sure the Tigers earn them’ in relation to the umpiring we cop. But how to prove it …..

Then it came to me …. in finals the games are umpired by the BEST umpires. By umpires who’ve been the best during the season. By senior umpires unlikely to be swayed by head office ‘nods and winks’. And under the bright lights of finals no umpire is going to risk blatant inconsistency to screw over the Tigers.

So what do the stats show? From 2017-2022 in Home and Away games our free kicks are:

Frees for: 2,000
Frees against: 2,428

In the same period …. playing the exact same style of football under the same rules, here is our finals free kick record:

Frees for: 223
Frees against: 227

If that isn’t enough cold hard evidence of corruption then not sure what is..?? That cannot be a coincidence to be 50/50 in finals and completely reamed in home and away.

I too have thought that however I concluded broad incompetence during HA as opposed to best in class during finals

Remember Edwards before he was far from being a three-time premiership player? we need that same investment in stack.

I remember him … trained his arse off. Never an ounce overweight. Never an off-field issue … ever. Gave himself every opportunity to thrive and we supported him accordingly.

I think we should keep supporting Stack … but it’s a woeful message to play Stack ahead of Edwards or Castagna if Stack isn’t 100% dedicating himself to football. The fact a player of his immense talent is in the VFL makes it very clear he isn’t.

I've said it before & i got laughed at - but to suggest that the umpires are corrupting and conspiring against us, is to also suggest that the AFL itself is.

So the question is more "Why are they" then any type of "how"

When we were winners we all just thought it was because it was there way of "evening things back up". But now, that is clearly not the case, why has it gotten worse. I've clearly said i think it was the hub & Dimma's behaviour and comments (doubt the recent weed comments went down well) - but what other motives is there?

no dispute about him, he really needs to make an impact or his talent is going to waste, my angle is on his upside, remember he stood up for us late last year when many did not. so he did rise to the occasion and is capable of doing the same this year, just needs consecutive games.
