I've said it before & i got laughed at - but to suggest that the umpires are corrupting and conspiring against us, is to also suggest that the AFL itself is.

So the question is more "Why are they" then any type of "how"

When we were winners we all just thought it was because it was there way of "evening things back up". But now, that is clearly not the case, why has it gotten worse. I've clearly said i think it was the hub & Dimma's behaviour and comments (doubt the recent weed comments went down well) - but what other motives is there?

But our free kick reaming does date back well before the hubs.

Maybe it’s the subconscious for all non-Tiger supporters that life made a lot more sense when Richmond were a basket-case. As no matter how bad ‘your’ team was, you could always laugh at Richmond supporters. That’s something people clearly have trouble accepting …. Even umpires !!

Dead set felt like that being at the game
He paid absolutely everything and anything to the druggos and gave us less than nothing

Even the 80 year old granny in front of me was losing her shit at #13
God bless her
I saw the Dogs v Filth game last week and that same ****wit umpire was just as bad. He has absolutely no feel for the game. As bad an umpire as I've seen.

Votes for Parish :straining: Never heard of those two judges

Judges' voting (in order of their 3, 2, 1 votes):

Andrew Krakouer – Yokayi Footy Show (Chair):
Dion Prestia (Richmond), Liam Baker (Richmond), Jack Riewoldt (Richmond).
Luke Darcy – Channel 7: Dion Prestia (Richmond), Liam Baker (Richmond), Daniel Rioli (Richmond).
Jess Webster – ABC: Dion Prestia (Richmond), Liam Baker (Richmond), Darcy Parish (Essendon).
Josh Gabelich – AFL Media: Dion Prestia (Richmond), Liam Baker (Richmond), Darcy Parish (Essendon).

thought Baker and Prestia were both best on

Dan Rioli was not far behind…JR8 great

Parish?

We're going to have to play a smaller forwardline for at least the next week which is going to rely on Jack being the centerpoint. He hasn't needed to do that role for a full game for quite some time. It would mean that Dusty/Bolton and the Nank/Soldo rotations will become far more crucial too.
Dusty perma forward until Lynch returns. Or do we swing Balta forward again?

Sir Doug Nicholls Round:

Proud day of culture for the Indigenous men of the RFC,
Great showcase of the developing culture at the Club,
Awesome Dreamtime guernsey designed by Marlion and Jessica.

Not really. Our style in 2017 & 2018 encouraged giving free kicks away - it was how we played. We gave away free's to slow down the play when the opposition would try to transition, so we could get players back and set up our system. We also gave away more 50's as we often would hold onto a player longer than necessary for the same motivation. I don't really recall 2019 being so bad that we questioned foul play like this - but 2020 it definitely started to shift

lol, Balta is out for five weeks. He can barely walk, we aint swinging him anywhere

Where was that reported?
According to Burge he's already running.

Noah had an incident later in the (Round 9) game kicking a long kick inside-50. He changed his kick at the last minute, which probably contributed a little bit to the injury. He's got a typical hamstring strain, but a kicking-related hamstring strain. He's already moving quite well, he's had three running sessions this week already and he's feeling pretty good. I think the Sydney game will be a stretch, so it's more after the bye that we think his return will be.

That’s the problem with them being Part time and most of them haven’t even played the ****ing game

They have zero common sense or feel for the game
Just nerds reading off a script sheet

hmmmmm no, he was limping because he had a 1 kilo block of ice, shrink wrapped to the back of the one of his legs

ffs - he has been ruled out for 4-6 with a hammy. Im sure he is going to be on dancing with the stars this week, What the f are you trying to point out? That i actually have no idea how each player is walking day to day? No shit sherlock

Wouldn't be taking the high road here considering you post more about Dimma's divorce than Women's Weekly.

Yeah, no shit. Its a pretty decent topic considering he used to reference her as his strength & rock and the importance of family all the time. He had an affair with a woman way younger than him in the hub when she was stuck at home with the kids, in Vic lockdowns. It was a dog act & she clearly was hurt by it & i felt sorry for her . I reckon what he did to her was really really shit

Way to bring something totally irrelevant into a topic with no context whatsoever too btw.

I will admit i have NFI how he was actually walking as i don't stalk the players.I watch the games on the weekend & thats about it (like a normal person).

I responded to someone asking if we will swing him forward next week & said it in jest as last i heard he was due to miss 4-6 weeks with a hammy, which is a long stint for a hammy injury. Sorry, i forgot you all are such a literal bunch who take every comment way too seriously

On-line originally did report 4-6 weeks. But Burgo did confirm he was running straight away and it sounds like if this week was a GF he’d play.

Feels like a free hit for us this week. Missing our best KPD and best KPF plus Lambert, coming off 4 wins, Sydney coming off a loss… played at the SCG. I’m not taking too much notice if we lose (unless we get thumped) …. but a win would be huge knowing that with a bit of luck we’ll be full strength post-bye.

Had no idea he had an update in his status - good if true, but ridiculously risky to rush a bloke back from a suspected 4-6 hammy when he is 22.

I actually found Dimma's comments about Lamberts hip very concerning. They basically expected him to only play 2 weeks and he managed to play 4. Thats great, but if he has re-injured himself then that could be a debacle. His injury was originally possibly season/career ending. It seemed a very silly risk considering that we only played Hawthorn & Essendon - 2 teams we are well equipped to beat without him, you would think. No we are missing him against the Swans, a team where we could use him dearly

I wouldn't be rushing Balta back
