Sounds like we'll go shorter, rather than replacing Lynch, to try and replicate what the Blues did.
Not sure Cumberland is in that equation.

And does he compliment the back six when he is on the interchange bench? What does he say when he gives them compliments?
And does he compliment them when he is sitting on the pine? What does he say when he gives them compliments?
Regardless of whatever stats anyone wants to judge him on or eye test is clearly not related to whatever KPI’s he has from the coaching staff for the role he plays in our game style.I think now more than ever, the criticism of Castagna is warranted. Sure, stats on their own aren't a way to judge a player - how about when they pass the eye test that is the initial form of judgement?
He's averaging 1.8 tackles a game, lower than any time in his career as a forward and rated below average for his position. Maybe his pressure is better and just not getting the reward? 11.7 pressure acts is a clear full-season low and rated below average too.
Accuracy in front of goal is down to 34.5% and while he's getting more of the ball, his kicking efficiency is 50.6%, which isn't good.
We have to acknowledge the fact that he has been involved in a lot of scoring chains and one way or another, he brings teammates into the play. That's probably why he stays in the team, finding space inside 50 is a weapon beyond the player themselves getting the ball.
The point of all this is to say, the argument is valid. He isn't marked tightly generally so his ball use is so concerning and a decrease in certain indicators will draw a lot more debate this season, because you then ask if a player coming in can do what he does offensively inside 50, given the pressure is well down.
Good. I look forward to watching it later tonight.Dima hammers the media in his presser

Said why don’t u the afl media write about the good things in our game, you always want to focus on the 20% negatives and never the 80% positiveswhat he say

Yeah it’s pathetic and once again it’s our club leading the way in trying for changeThe AFL media are basically Ambulance chasers. Damo Barret one of the main drivers.

That's because everything's operating on Sydney time, which means the game's already over, as they're always so far ahead of the rest of the country...team is comin out in less than an hour and still no preview thread
what happened to wednesday night team
Still laughing. To the bloke who just laughed at this - You do realise that in both those years we only finished in the top 4 by 1 win or less. One more loss & we finish 5th or 6th.
When Lynch & Jack went out Chol came in and impacted winning - he alone was the reason we won at least 1 game each of those years - he was the perfect depth guy for us . Play forward and mobile ruck - he is sorely missed for me. Would have loved to have kept him, especially this week.
With Lynch & Balta out, we might go 1/4 over the next month. If we do, then we are no chance of top 4. We got 2/4 or 3/4, we are still a good chance to get that spot if we keep winning with our best team in. The lack of depth could cost us dearly over the next month, lets hope Cumberland can be a revelation
