At the game I teared up. As did some around me, could barely speak. Amazing experience.

16,000 kms away I teared up too. I did last week as well, and I get a little moisture in the eyes just thinking, our boys have got to the last Saturday in September and I reckon they have the belief they can finish the job!

Thanks for all meeeting up yesterday WATiger86 , exceptional design and Tiger_4_Life and I hope you will all pull up fine this morning.
Absolutely massive game and I still haven't seen the boys lose a game at vfl or afl this year. May this massive pilgrimage to football Mecca continue. Haven't seen a bunch of blokes so ripped in a Tiger jumper since 82.
Kane from Adelaide we will catch up this week mate so I hope your health improves as this Tiger journey has been sick.
Go Tigers. What a week we have ahead of us all.

Congratulations and good luck. Praying for you guys to win. Adelaide will be unbearably cringeworthy if the Crows win.
Praying yeah. Me too. Walking through the city on the way to the game I was tempted to go into the church or 2 and say a prayer

Just got home.
Lost my voice.
Lost my left shoe somewhere on Swan Street if anyone finds it
What.A.Night.

I managed to hold back the tears during the game and at the siren. But then I opened up my messages to write a simple "I'm going to see the Tigers in the Grand Final!" text to my wife and the last message she sent me was still on display, which was a photo of our two boys (3y & 6 months) on the floor watching the game on TV together. It took me a good 2-3 minutes to write that message through the tears in my eyes.

The noise when our players came out for warmups 45 mins before the match was louder than probably 7-8 teams would have had at their games this year.

The crowd volume when our players ran out and the song played was absolutely spine tingling for a solid couple of minutes.

The roar at the end of the anthem was huge.

The biggest noise was easily when Lambert kicked the first goal. I actually had to turn the volume up on my radio by about 75% because I just flat out couldn't hear it in my ears.

It was like a party from about the 15-20 minute mark of the third quarter though and there were so many things that made the crowd go nuts. The post-siren renditions of the song were easily the loudest I've ever heard. There were probably also about 70,000 people still in there to watch the players sing the song in the rooms which they broadcast on the big screen.

To sum up my thoughts on the atmosphere, I genuinely don't think there will ever be another AFL crowd like it. It was just the perfect storm of the big club with decades-long suffering fans up against the start-up franchise who couldn't generate their own significant crowd support.

You could see a Collingwood/Essendon v GWS/GCS final that might rival the size of today, but it's the last 35 years of history that really made the atmosphere what it was.

I'll remember tonight for the rest of my life.

That's a great photo. A real highs and lows moment.

Mr Big - To be with you
Glad you mentioned lambert's goal. Has he kicked the first a couple of times now?

Beating the cats last final . Beating GWS after a 2 week break. I was impressed. They outplayed us in the first half. But we responded and got the job done. Well doe all coaches, all players and all supporters. I flew down from the Goldie yesterday morning. Tigers everywhere. On the plane. On Skybus, in the city. And I'm glad GWS made a game of it cos it gave everyone something to scream about. It was all high fives where I was too. The size and feralnesd of the crowd and the sidedness was surreal.

Question- which two teams have the longest Grand Final appearance drought?
Carlton and NORF.
How good is it to say that. I curse Graham Richmond. I take my hat off to the board, Peggy and Benny. Reappointed Dimma when I would have sacked him. And RFC has got itself into a GF. And it's winnable. And what supporters! Worst team in the last 40 years but biggest supporter base. I hope we did our bit in all of that, turning up when we were getting flogged, helping out financially when required. Gil better ask the MCG to start the renovations now. The family has gotten too big our home needs bigger grandstands

I was at a BBQ in 82 when we lost to Carlton, I was 19 and I remember turning to a blues fan and saying we will be back next year.... And then we never were......... I have had a whole career in the Army..... And we never made it...... I lived in the N.T. for a decade...... And we never made it........ I'm in my 50's now...... And we have finally made it...... Was at the pub last night with a heap of other tigers, I left after the game just so I could savour it by myself on the walk home... Blubbering like a kid.... I'm a priority 1 member so I've got my ticket for the granny and I can't f@#kin wait.......... Happiest day of my life so far....... I'm hoping that next week will be happier
YELLOW & BLACK
And if I ever hear another person slag off Trent Cotchin again they get a throat punch
The man is our leader and has earned respect

It's only just sinking in, we're in a grand final, we're one game from EVERYTHING. Sat up in the nosebleeds of Q34 and lost my voice, my first ever finals win I've seen live and only my second ever (my first being the Hawthorn game this year), I am so ****ing proud. Soak it up boys, the media hype, the attention, the parades. A once feared prospect, the club now feeds off of the attention. No matter what happens next week, I know we will leave nothing in the tank, we can beat them at the G, it will be tough, but we'll be in it

What a year, we'll never forget 2017, it has the changed the club forever

Well done guys and gals. Heading in I was expecting to cop plenty but your supporters were fantastic. Even after the game stopped at a couple of pubs in the city and all wanted to offer commiserations and chat about the game and then being the sole giant on the train carriage home the same thing again. Although I think ive heard the club song enough times for now. Good luck for Saturday.
