Mate we are like the dogs last year or leicester city. Its just gonna happen. Somehow we will win
There is certainly a lot of similarity to the pressure your group applied yesterday and the pressure we applied in the 2016 finals. Sadly we couldn't do it again in 2017, but if you guys can do it one more time you are absolutely a good chance to win the whole damn thing.

If a boxer gets knocked out in the 10th round how can anyone categorically say which punch was responsible? It's a combination of punches over the course of the fight that ultimately result in the inevitable knockout.

No doctor will be able to provide 100% evidence that either the bump from Astbury or the hit from Cotch caused Shiels concussion.

It's going to be a very interesting week as worst case we could lose 3 players to the MRP which would be massive.

Again it would seem the the Richmond football club will be the subject of yet another precedent decision that will be talked about for years to come.

Looks fine , nothing in it.
They'll be looking to hang someone over shiel concussion and this was the hit just before quarter time. Medico's self preservation will report Shiel was ok after Cotchin hit not after at quarter time. that is on the presumption that it was in fact concussion not shoulder that kept shiel out of the game.

It's a bit hard to avoid footy news
I actually haven't watched any of the finals except Port vs. WCE.

I had some lady at work say to me "surely you are going for the Tiges"
I gave her daggers and said "why am i surely" we arent are all bandwagoning campaigners.

She obviously knows how to troll you.:D:D:D

That will be heartbreaking.
Still next to nothing in it imo. Doubt it gets looked at. No choice but to make contact as it was the best way to play the moment. both going for the ball.

Look how susceptible griff is to concussions. Some people get it easier than others.

Cotchin barely clipped him too.

Could have been any bump in the game or it could be all of them added up.. its not one players fault.

Was it just sheer dumb luck sloane didnt concuss danger with high front on contact?

Crows board already celebrating the premiership.
Avoid at all costs. New level of stupid over there.

Wow, here i was thinking the game was a 50/50 played at our home ground?

What an amazing day it was. Perfect weather a massive crowd and a noise the likes of which the AFL has never and will never hear again. From the 23rd second of the match I knew we were Grand Final bound as the boys were on and focused. Quick ball movement never gave the Giants a chance to set up defensively and while they were able to score some goals it was more due to our mistakes than them actually deserving them. When the Giants got the lead in the second quarter I wasn't concerned as we were getting opportunities but just coulnd't convert. The second half was the most enjoyable half of footy I have ever had the pleasure of being a part of. Left the G after the 4th rendition of the song with ears ringing, voice gone and a feeling that only becoming a parent could equal.

Next week I expect the same 22 to take the field and hope that they can give us all a moment we'll never forget.
