I will have to watch the replay.
I had a seat behind a guy who for the entire first quarter thought he was hilarious every time he yelled out "go bombers" and "dusty, come to the dark side (Essendon)". 15-20 occasions of that for the quarter and I had to move.

Then spent the rest of the game sitting in front of a Richmond fan who criticised everything we did for the rest of the game. Spectators can really ruin your experience.

Fantastic win. Did Goldstein even get a contested mark? What a difference it was without waste of space Vickery and a legitimate ruck.
Midfield smashed theirs.
They didn't show Brad Scott sooking enough. Would've even liked to see he look in that smug boomer Harvey's face.
Our defence was super. I was waiting for Waite and Sideshow to have a big second half but it didn't eventuate so that was great.

Changes:
Out: Lloyd, Grigg, George
In: Lennon, Vlastuin, Griffith's

I like Grigg but I'd like him to have to earn HS spot. Thought he wasnt great tonight.
Hoping 2 weeks more and Griffiths will be back for his day out team.

When are Conca and Hampson available? Surely Hampson isn't too far away

Why Grigg out?

One poor game after such a consistent season surely isn't drop worthy?

Funniest thing about the "Make some Noise" thing norf played every time they kicked a goal was that if it wasn't as cringey enough of a concept already they added in fake cheering to make it sound like the place was going off and then when the recording cut out there was just silence around the ground.

10 or more blokes who deserve votes tonight, great second half.

Out: Castagna, Lloyd
In: Vlastuin, Lennon

How come you couldn't sit with This Is Anfield who has never found fault with anything?

I thought Menadue made a few mistakes early , but picked up his game in the second half, so he survives.
George did a few good things , but was missing for most of the night, so he's at risk.
Lloyd cannot understand what's happened to his game in 8 months and as people have said it's probably adapting to the new game plan. Back to VFL.
My Outs : Lloyd George
My Ins: Garthwaite ( we seriously need another tall to take the heat of Jack )
Miles to give us that extra midfield rotation so Dusty /Cotchin/Caddy can have a trundle down the forward line and to rest Prestia.
Don't want to rush Vlas back after a long time out and would prefer to see him get his mojo back through the twos. Don't want to make the team too slow , but I still think there is enough pedal power even with the two changes ,plus the two boys named can at least win their own ball although by different methods.
Lennon stiff, but I see him inferior to Lloyd in playing to the game plan due to his lack of pace defensive pressure and tank.
He's getting better , but he can develop in the VFL and continue to build on his game. CEllis appears to have got his mojo back so he can continue to put good games together in the VFL then he can start to worry a few blokes. Menadue has it over him bc of his dash and clever ball use and even Sheds is becoming more consistent. It's great to see a few blokes are starting to put pressure on the bottom six to eight players and blokes busting a ball to keep their spots. Brandon Ellis has strung two good games together which is another plus. Grimes has made some errors of late and needs to clean up his act , but I wouldn't mess around with the back six as it regularly keeps the opposition under 80.

"Nathan Broad has recovered from a shoulder injury and returns in the VFL this weekend, meaning the Tigers needed to move Ivan Soldo back to the rookie list temporarily before re-elevating him in place of Shaun Hampson, who ran laps on Thursday."

Garthwaite isnt a forward is he? When Soldo and Elton went down they swung Batch fwd and he was actually really good not that im saying bring him in. Garth needs some fwd time in VFL before he comes into the seniors.

Yes he is as he played as a junior up forward and kicked a bag .
He could be developed to be a swing man IMO. I don't want to go down the Batchelor path as we all know his limitations so I would rather look into other options. I'm easily happy to go in with the JR7D team , but I believe we're not getting full advantage of all our I50 thrusts.
