As I said, I just watched the 1st half, watching him carefully. I hope he had the midfield coach do a review with the game for him to see.

I dont think there would have been much laughing going on.

The analysis they would do would involve a lot of the footage that isn't seen on tv - down the ground stuff and would involve his GPS numbers as well as seeing how he went against his KPIs. Fir what it's worth I thought he was poor in the first half but better in the 2nd half.

Overall it was a poor piece of play but I'm loath to hang a player for a mistake. Others are not so forgiving around here. To think that players will hit their target every time is simply unrealistic. If that happened then no one would ever miss a shot on goal... Lambert Rioli Baker

Missing targets happen all the time. However very rarely when attempting to switch. It was an absolute howler that robbed us of momentum, then compounded by a brain-dead decision to smash a ball out of bounds a minute later. Macca is very lucky we won and that he kicked a ripping goal because both of those errors were very much unforced and would have been seen as the moment in the game where we lost the momentum we'd worked hard to build. Macca would be embarrassed by his 2 minutes and would be right to feel that way - way below his standards.

Syd is sore.

Needs a massage , There is a good thai place on keilor rd and get him to ask for Ari ;)
I agree Balta will go out when JR comes back. And this week, I would have Balta in my rotations on Buddy with Broad & Grimes.

Nank will be up against Gawn , Preuss and even McDonald in the fwd line..................... Cant see how we can possibly drop our 2nd ruck for that game unless Soldo comes in for that

Agree... definitely had a better 2nd half. And yes they have all the data and whole ground vision. But I could see his piss poor tackling attempts and him slow jogging/almost walking as others were streaming away on the turnovers/clearances. Not having a go at his attitude, more likely not fit enough for a midfield role. I just hope he got shown the vision. We know what he can do, and his potential.

Garth is much fitter now, best 3 in vfl last week, NO vfl this week, so will they run him to keep his fitness on the ''up'' if Bash or Stack not quite right???? Daniher is in from nowhere!! the games they play !! What ya reckon team, any chance???? Remember its a 4 day turnaround so they will want to hang someone back from one of the 2 games depending on match ups, ''if'' soreness is affecting any of our topliners.

Would rather see him come in than try Jack or even Grigg in there again

Would rather see CCJ play against Sinclair with Nank and save the harder body of Soldo for Gawn and Pruess. This is talking back up of course. CCJ is an emergency however Sinclair can be covered adequately enough with Nank I think with a bit of chop out by Balta.

All of a sudden our win over Port seems even better now they are demolishing the reigning premiers. There midfield is far too good for WC. The same Port midfield that our inexperienced midfielder cleaned up last week. Jack Ross performance stands up even further in my eyes now

Yes and no. Port sub-consciously believed the hype that if ever Richmond were beatable that was the week, on their own turf. The intensity Port took to Perth was way different than we played against. The beauty of 22 headcases playing 22 other headcases coached by a collective of headcases:think::D
