Hit a target...not that hard
It is their job.
Kick the ball 20 metres to your mate on the full.
Not broads fault at all

yeh spot on, it was a shocker of a kick

cant blame broad, the ball was bouncing all over the place

How to look up pressure points/acts from games? Would be interested to see where Graham ranked there. Only 14 touches but 7 tackles and I'm sure he applied plenty of pressure. It'd be mad to drop him. For me, if it's just Dusty, then Menadue is the one that comes out.

Had our most pressure acts i believe

hes 3rd in the afl overall

Was a woeful kick from only 20 metres away and I understand the human element and the pressure but MacIntosh has played over 70 games and ought to be able to hit a target from where he was, the ball drop was terrible and he mucked it up completely. Broad's effort was poor as well, he seemed to run around the ball, he just had to grab it decisively and do something with it. I'm sure I heard Benny Hill music playing in the background when that 10 secs or so unfolded.

The due is quick makes good decisions and hits targets.... I’d keep him

2 players will be out according to Hardwick.
Houli back, so most likely Menadue, who else.
Martin, must be a mid.... probably Baker, last in first out. Both unlucky with quite a few players on notice.
Baker over george any day of the week

Baker over george any day of the week

lol @ Pacal being a reptilian

George i would go so far as to say set the tone with his hardness at the start of the previous game

that said Baker would be very stiff to get dropped

I am a bigot but look you can only carry so many tiny players. Its hard to win the flag with a pack of short people (again)

Assuming Riewoldt comes back in, having Balta + Lynch + Riewoldt + Caddy up forward is far too tall.

Swans only have Sinclair to ruck, which Nankervis can handle with no problems. Riewoldt can chop out.

Can't see what Balta adds at this stage other than cover for talls and ruck chop-outs for Nank. Will be a star one day, but not yet.

Pressure won us a flag and the game Vs Port.

might be time to go to specsavers

With respect...not even close
Made finals in 13 and were still considered a joke.. Would've been laughing stock if we finished 9th again... only team ever to win last 9 in a row to make finals. Saturday night was a good win.....rd23 2014 was a win for the ages
Different types of good. R23 2014 was was the most joyful win. Sat dead still for 3 quarters and paced around the kitchen for the last. The only time I’ve ever been anywhere near as nervous was the 17 QF. When the siren went phwoar what a feeling. Clearly the best after a H&A game.

But I reckon Saturday was a better win. Swans were a tougher opposition than Port even without Buddy but they had top spot locked in, no real incentive to win as long as they played alright. Meanwhile we were absolutely flying and near full strength.
Saturday night we had our backs to the wall, missing our absolute best players, and it was no dead rubber for port either. Plus it was on ports actual home ground.
As a whole they’re impossible to compare. Brilliant wins for very different reasons.

the 'chicken little sack hardwick we're ****ed fold the club burn down punt rd' brigade built this game up to mean more than it does
we're 2-2 and histrionics & hyperbole don't count for much in my book
win 17 of the next 18 and win the flag....then this game takes on greater significance

I dunno
I’ve always remained pretty confident in our flag chances but we were missing a lot of players last week. I thought we’d improved significantly vs GWS but still lacked polish and confidence, so my gut feel was that we’d be competitive just lack game winners. As it turned out a whole host of ‘role players’ showed that they are capable of far more than that. In the Sydney win R23 2014 did we really learn that much? Across the whole streak we did but in that win, I don’t think so.

we did learn 'don't play 9 elimination finals in a row.....followed by a final'
