Gawn last week, Bont this week - two matches a in a row we get torn a new one by blokes who grew up Richmond supporters and it's cost us finals. Other costly match was Dreamtime in which Hobbs had a blinder.

I can't think of many clubs that's best 2 top Richo and Bowden. Raines never should've left. Rhett Bartlett's handy off the field..... Lol at least it's better than our NGA which we've probably pumped $1mil into for the sum total of 1 good game out of Eggmessy Smith.

What the f* is going on people?!? Dusty was ‘not ready?!?’ Not injured, not rested, ‘not ready’. Who has ever heard of anything like that in the history of football? The only two games this year where we have not been a chance to win in the last quarter - Brisbane and Dogs - and Dusty is a late out with an ‘injury’ that would never have sidelined a player in the 80s or 90s. Not a champion. Not for a crucial game. The flu and soreness?!? WTF is soreness? I repeat - not injured, not rested, ‘not ready.’ This doesn’t happen. Whatever the reason for that absolute travesty of a decision Thursday night we should not be accepting it otherwise we are not men worthy of the name. Mini announced at his Thursday presser that Cotchin was not playing. You’re telling me he didn’t know Dusty was ‘not ready’ then? He needed another few hours to find out if he was ready? Utter BULLSHIT!! Do not take this lying down or else the club will not exist in ten years because nobody cares anymore.
Oh well, it is what it is.
Just relax and enjoy the rest of the season and see out some champs.
Next year new coach, new captain.
Most importantly look for a back up plan when Lynch goes down. We should look for him now, see if there is a forward up for it in the VFL.
And hope the umpires are nicer to us next year.

Dusty was managed due to general soreness, probably had a corkie or miscellaneous aches and pains due to being 30+ having just played an extremely bruising game 5 days beforehand. If we'd had another Sunday game, he likely plays.
Clubs do this all the time, you don't necessarily need to be injured to not play, sometimes it's best to rest so you don't properly injure yourself.
I've seen melts before on this site but yours is next level.

The Hopper trade deal has been a bloody disaster.
Not good enough. We were not going to do anything in finals. Just like the bulldogs who will do about as much damage as a feather duster.

Clubs do not rest star players all the time for being 30+ or miscellaneous aches and pains after being best on the week before and citing no specific injury. Give me just one example of this in a game with finals on the line and I will remove my post. Just one. Doesn’t happen. Aren’t football players famous for playing WITH injuries? For playing through the pain? Miscellaneous aches and pains. I wonder if that’s how Dermott Brereton would have described his broken ribs ten minutes into the ‘89 GF. He’s a legend because he kept playing. Why? Because it was a GF. Give me one example from all of football history - even world sport - of a team’s best player being left out without an injury that anybody’s ever heard of before of a game in which said team’s season was on the line. Remember: best on for us last week, no cited injury, no injuries all season, season on the line. DOES NOT HAPPEN!
