Reid is just amazing the way he finds space, like he can sense where the opposition are and knows which way to turn to get away from them.
What are we thinking of Brockman so far? Have seen some glimpses but he's been fairly underwhelming.

Negative - the AFL are definitely going to give Yeo a week. The fact it was a free kick and a 50m penalty suggests he was reported by the umpire for that tackle does it not? If it’s a just a dangerous tackle it’s a free kick taken from the spot of the infringement.

Would have to be graded as medium impact to be a week, don't see how it could be that.

Reid is just amazing the way he finds space, like he can sense where the opposition are and knows which way to turn to get away from them.

What stood out for me was the centre clearance where he bolted away and hit up Waterman; he uses the guys on the ground as a screen to give him more time and goes slightly backwards - most players would've gone forwards at all costs. Then he also has the intelligence to identify Nankervis and knows he can burn him off.

18 years old and game number 5. Ridiculous.

The 50 was for dissent though, not as a penalty as part of the tackle.

Jordan Dawsons tackle was very similar to Yeos, both with no head hitting the ground. Dawsons was more of a sling too, and he only got a fine.

Judd would win contested ball, POWER to space then deliver. Magnificent awareness and skill and was never caught with a footy. Basically a poor man's Reid.

Was at the game this arvo, great atmosphere nearly got emotional seeing the 48k crowd sing the song - most of everything has been posted already so i'll go with a few of the standouts/left field

Reid is a beast. 48k simultaneously blew their load watching Reid take it out of the centre. Maclure, splitting picks, the afl can all go ead we've got Reid!
Might go stat hunting in a bit but the turnaround in our disposal efficiency. I thought we were in for a long day 20mins through the first quarter, from then on we were much cleaner by foot. Was fekn painful watching us miss easy targets which resulted badly. less turnovers allowed us to get our game going
Ginbey got around the ground really well, solid career ahead
Whilst Barrass didn't have a great day he did appear to be moving pretty well
Snake. what a story
1 week closer to getting flynn and oallen back
Tried this new thing called not drinking too many beers. worked a treat

Thought Noah was actually pretty good. Seemed like he was being played further up the ground and did some neat stuff in an under. Didn't mind his game?

Longy was good today, was doing a lot of the dirty work. One of those game that's low possession/goals but highly valued for the work rate.
