And many pay for the privilege!Think of the mental toll us supporters have endured watching Hinkley stink it up for 12 years.
Instantly improves the list with those two has beens out the door if anything.I like how the list will implode because Boak and Dixon are retiring. How will we ever cover for those two?
I always think that Ken knows no other way because he pretty much played all his footy like that. They would have bombed it into Ablett and Brownless and the year he played for Fitzroy it would have been Quinlan.I really dislike the 'Ken can't play for them comments'.
There's a big difference to kicking to an open forward line vs kicking to a forward line with 36 players in it.
Who is conducting his exit meeting? Sack HinkleyIf Ken wasn't in the exit meetings we would have heard about it from the media by now.
Someone would leak.
I've remained a BD member throughout but will stand out next year if he's still there.
Just not 12 seasons if he can't make improvements after 3 or 4 seasons.Which is precisely why I think we should give Carr a chance to prove himself as coach, before writing him off. Josh will do things his way, but he can't do much until we get rid of Hinkley.
So Chewy316, if the board is divided, can you shed light on who's in which camp? Obviously Tredrea and Snowdon, the guys that actually understand the game of football ding ding ding are in the sack Hinkley camp, but I would be intrigued to know the loyalties of the others. Im sure the Bean Counter Oborne wants to keep him, Cardone probably does too because he's a Plant, but where are the others?
6pm Saturday would work.I reckon it might get sorted this week but the AFL would really want the focus on the GF and lead up to it, Brownlow, parade etc.....
Maybe Friday? if it's a thing it will be Monday/Tuesday for sure next week.
The fact there has already been a 'walk away story' from Morris maybe makes me think something is up.
Fingers crossed eh.
Columbus definitely in the Koch camp, so I suggest would vote accordingly. So Chewy316, if the board is divided, can you shed light on who's in which camp? She's so disruptive that she used a reverse agile methodology to actually disrupt her own disruption and thus wants Hinkley to stay.Surely Holly the disruptor is in the sack camp, it seems like a very disruptive thing to do.
Look, the BF server will crash with all of us port supporters and the rest worrying that Port may actually achieve something in the near future as the spud will finally be gone.I live for the day I refresh big footy and this title is changed to "Sacked Hinkley"
Do know much about Columbus? Seems a reasonably heavy hitter in the Oil and Gas space but I don't really know anything about him.Columbus definitely in the Koch camp, so I suggest would vote accordingly.
So exit interviews for players have already started, is Ken involved?

Is Koch involved in those grown-up discussions, or has they been relegated to the kid's table? I would prefer the latter!I'm sure he is but it isn't going to impact his future with the club either way.
Quite frankly the majority of the Board members are probably not even aware of the discussions that are going to be taking place amongst the footy grown ups over the next few days.
It's a good question, but I can't answer it at this point. Not because I don't know it, but rather because I have my limits as to what I can and can't post in here.

Hurry up! I'm not getting any younger.I suspect Koch will be the final person to sign off on any decision made about Hinkley's future in the coming weeks. But to my knowledge this is a discussion being made by football people, and Koch isn't a football person.
