That we have allowed people with the power to hire and fire and negotiate contracts to be in separate commercial relationships with their subordinates is just jaw-droppingly bad judgment.

Memo to the club: greyhound racing is ****ing rank. It's cruel, abusive and riddled with problem gambling and dodgy money. It's being progressively banned around the world because of this, and yet here we are in 2022 apparently meant to be proud that our hicksville coach is mired in conflicts of interest and probable gambling debts with his supposed boss and a bunch of players he is meant to have objective review over.

This shit doesn't make anyone proud. It makes me actually embarrassed to call myself a Port supporter, and that's something I thought I'd never say.

It’s mindblowingly on the nose!

I’m all for people being allowed to gamble, but promoting it as their ‘mentor’ and the constant advertising is a recipe for disaster!

At least with drink and drugs there’s a hard limit and it becomes obvious, having young people with a lot of disposable income addicted to gambling AND working in a sport reliant in gambling sponsosrship is next level ****ing ludicrous!

The club should be ashamed of this! They will also have to face the disgrace when it inevitably goes wrong for one of the players in the future.

It goes on everywhere & has forever there would be players who are part owners on horseys too, the coach being involved is on the nose though.
