Caro.... should have walked in 2017. Should have walked now. Hinkleys can't handle the pressure of Adelaide. Koch is a big mouthed loser. Blah blah blah. Just * off, both of you.

If he's under that much pressure and him and his wife find it so uncomfortable living in a two-team town, then he should just quit. What, you can't handle one year without income from football? You've fleeced millions out of this club with zero results. Have some dignity and step away.

I want an assurance from someone at the club that Ken will coach out his contract and that’s it.

Perhaps a posted letter or two to board members is the go.

Emails are easy to discount. (White noise).
It'd be like asking for an assurance from Stephen Rowe that he won't say something stupid.

There are no winners in Caro's article. She seems genuinely surprised Ken chose to stay on to the end of this contract. He hasn't achieved ultimate success in 10 years and it was time to let go, especially with the associated pressure.

She has called out Koch's relentless destructive empty bluster, based on hunting with the hounds and running with foxes.

Neither man seems to know how to make a hard decision to end a clearly untenable situation.

The saddest thing is that even if we turf Ken at the end of next year we will do it after all 22 rounds because Koch thinks that's what good clubs do and it's all about his ego and "business acumen"

So even of Hardwick or someone else good is available next year they'll be gone before we enter the race.

Hinkley must walk. He simply has to.

Adelaide is so unbearable to live in that after 10 years they refuse to leave?
Somebody more sceptical than Caro might suspect they could be bullshitting

Why hasn't the media, or the RSPCA, picked up on Hinkley's greyhound side gig, the involvement of the players in the synidicate and the alleged putting down of a greyhound? Surely there's conflict of interest and animal cruelty issues at hand here.

It's either that or Ken is using Caro as a way to start publicising that he will leave if GWS offer him a contract 😉

I can dream

Not sure what the point of the article was. Is it:

A. Adelaide is on the other side of the wall and run by wildlings
B. Kenny only wants to coach in a non pressure environment so the Gold Coast and GWS are the only real options for him
C. Kenny can't be that good as no other club are offering him a lifeline
D. All of the above.

Seriously in what country or football league is Ports last 10 years seen as winning? Is she trying to claim the minor premiership in a shorten covid season the same as winning the EPL?!?! Winning in other football leagues is only after finishing top after having played all sides home and away, minimum 34 rounds not 17.

Our game is built around qualifying for and winning finals, isn't she a AFL football expert?

The club has given him 10 years, how long does a coach get before fans get a right to ask questions without being labelled a pack of rabid dogs... oh sh!t bad pun in Kenny context.

Successful businesses are already planning for and securing successors for key personnel that haven't delivered.

They can do that behind closed doors, while the incompetent incumbent is in place.

Of course if there's another trigger clause.....

We needed to move Ken on while we still had a chance at a premiership, any decisions made from here on will be see we were right.
We have some good talent in Burgoyne, Butters, Georgiades, Bergman and few others but it's looking more likely that 1 or two of those will leave along with out on the full Amon. Gray, Jonas, Dixon, Boak all near the end so it's going to be a long way back.
This is why Hinkley wont be here beyond next year, he will almost have a rebuild or at least a side that is to young to go all the way, that would be to much for him to handle.

The next guy is not going to get it easy and I bet the board and Kock if still hear will on him like blowy on a sheeps arse, not cupping his balls like Kenny.

We are now the most pathetic loser club in the AFL.
