Koch is absolutely pathetic. Bumbling through his answers from the outset (interview this morning ) loathe to confirm what they've already done for fear of backlash. Absolutely hate the lying turd along with Hinkley and his enablers ala Davies and Richardson.

I didn’t get anything from that to suggest he’s getting extended. Call me naive but he did say there’s still ongoing talks which could be construed as (we’re just waiting to chalk up a win before we announce Hinkley) but the thing that gave me the teeniest bit of hope is when he said we don’t do rash things and something along the lines of we prepare well for the future, we’ve collected lots of data, we’re looking at the next “4-5, 10 years”.
What I take from that is there’s a succession plan in place, or Carr has already got the gig next year or they’re extending Hinkley longer than we thought could be stupidly possible.

We only have 3 hopes left.

1. The board over rules Koch. Very unlikely for a hand picked board.

2. Ken is done and retires. A remote possibility.

3. A succession plan. Less than ideal but better than the alternative and at least a remote possibility.

I cancelled my membership at the end of last season.

The writing was on the wall when Koch announced on Channel 7 news last year that Donuts was coaching again this year. That was the final straw for me.

If the Chairman can't be bothered letting the members know first then it proved that they do not give a stuff about us.

Don't know why Koch was so hesitant in his responses when it's obvious the extension is coming. They're not going to announce the coach isn't continuing before finals, and Ken has said he wants to go on, so an extension is the only possibility.
