Hey guys, hope all's well.

I reckon we should give a list spot to Quinton Narkle now that he has been delisted. Here's why:

• Would give us some intel on the Cats. Credit to them for whatever changes they've made in the past 12 months.
• An upgrade on RCD for sure, can find the footy 30 times at AFL level. Maybe not always but he can.
• Friends with Bolton, might help with retention.
• At the least he is great midfield insurance if we lose some to injury. Perhaps level with Ross for opportunity, and ahead of Sonsie although would still prefer Sonsie to be given lots of game time.
• Still only 24.

At the very least, a midfield boost of Taranto, Hopper, Narkle, and keeping Graham, this would be a good off-season for us.
Then, especially if we're trading Soldo I'd love us to find a replacement. And would love if we could bring in another early/mid 20s key position if available.

Samson Ryan is ready for next season. Ruck and forward. He is our ace in the pack. Jacob Bauer is not far off either. Very exciting. Must hold onto these two players at all costs. Don’t want another Chol disaster.

I strongly dislike him, but the way he speaks about our list, he knows us better than most journalists pretending they know us.

Acknowledged that Gibcus looked lost, which IMO, you'd need to be a really close observer to know that. On paper, aspiring 18 year old high quality kid. In reality, caught shitless many times this year and will get better for it.

Essentially they said, we're doing a Geelong and investing in this group again, adding two quality players alongside them. Maybe manage some of our boys the way the cats did with Danger.

It's a good listen.

We have been belted out of the middle for years and we have 2 blokes who can dramatically improve that and people still complain. What about the positive flow on effect for dion,shai,dusty etc. massive win for the club.

It's the same with the argument that they butcher the ball, have some of our supporters actually watched us play the past 6 years? It's all about chaos footy moving forward, that's when we are our most dangerous. Getting these 2 players is a no brainer.

1. Strengthens our midfield
2. Relieves pressure on our backline if we aren't getting smashed out of the middle all the time, means we can set up better in general play
3. Gives our forward line even more opportunity to score from more inside 50's
4. Going to help the likes of Bolton and Martin to keep playing attacking forward style footy.
5. Less pressure on Prestia each game and we can manage his time in the midfield, effectively playing more games.

If he is thinking about returning home then to me it makes sense helping him seek a trade while his value is still high.
