Understatement to say wind might be a factor. At a VFL game at Willy a few years ago, I saw the ball actually go backwards after it was kicked. It went up into the air and then back over the head of the kicker.

I've been a Williamstown supporter as long as I've been a Collingwood supporter - I can confirm that is a regular occurrence!!!
