1 or more f3 may get affected by an earlier than expected bid on Welsh. But that's a pretty good starting hand given we have brought in 3 players

Having extra F3 and F4 is smart business given the academy talent and allies next year

GC might have 6-7 draftable , swans 4, giants 3 and brisbane 4

I know the points system is changing but F3s could help with trades
I'm not sure how ....the practice of accumulating a multitude of backend picks for players, as I understand, finishes this year

Next year, I believe, you'll need picks more aligned to where players are bid on

I don't think these F3's we've accumulated are useful at all .....I thought we were fighting to hold a F2, was because we may use the F1 to trade back into this Draft

Picks after 40 have reduced massively in point value for 2025

37 down from 483 points to 297
50 down from 273 to 71
54 down from 220 to 14

Our three thirds will probably combine for about the same points as our single pick 42 this year

Yep I know , will give us a bit more flexibility with clubs looking for multiple picks though to match after 2nd round eg GC SYD and maybe brisbane / gws

No list spots , that was never happening

I feel like this has been covered a zillion times, but we can't trade back into this draft because we don't have enough list spots. Yes, I know we could technically delist someone early and pay out the rest their contract, but realistically that's not going to happen.

The F3s will be useful. Not as useful as in previous years, but useful. And it helps that there are so many academy/FS picks in next year's draft.

The F4 will probably not be useful, since only the first 54 picks in the draft will have value.

Whew!!! Well we've got him.
Well done to our recruiting team👍. This is one of the best off season trading that I can remember. They've redeemed themselves from the last few years.
Now hopefully we get Welsh and Draper, that will top things off.

What, since the Dawson and Rankine trades?
