I was taking the piss, but I could see the AFL reopening it if something horrendous comes out of this camp.

Seems strange that the club is okay with quality players walking out the door but desperately clings to incompetent off field staff. They are desperate to retain their power base.

You hit the nail on the head, unfortunately. You know I've actually thought about switching teams. Not just because of management. More because of how we are treated by the entire afl.
But I couldn't do it and I'd think of myself as a traitor. These disadvantages just make what premierships we win all the more special. Like someone else was cheating, but we still beat them. We really shouldn't have to though...

I was at a community carnival this afternoon and a guy (Collingwood supporter) in a market stall said your brave wearing that, referring to my Crows cap. I said why, “your clubs a rabble, what caused it. He said. Is it the captain”.
I said I don’t know but I t feels like more of the boys club isn’t up to the job.
It makes me wonder if the wider community thinks Tex is to blame or is this just a random uninformed bogan Collingwood stuffed orangutan salesman.

Has anyone ever been to one of those annual members meetings where Fagan and Chapman speak? Seems like last one was held in March 2017? Do they take questions? The 2018 one could be firey.

Its a lot to do with major sponsors Domain which is owned by Fairfax.
Tex raises the ire of a lot of people for whatever reason. Completely undeserved, but I think because he still has a bit of a bogan about him people like to feel they're superior by taking pot shots at him.
One of those blokes where they'd love him if he was on their team though. In a league where so many cry loyalty is dead and players only care about money it's weird his passion for the team he plays for is mocked so much.
