Duursma played a fantastic game, up and back.

Marto got 44 touches. About 20 of those were quality and I reckon in the second half there were a few glimmers of what his incisive kicks can do from back there.

That was the pleasing thing for me. Something clicked and we found our defensive edge. Still let them through here and there but they had a difficult time moving it.

Gradually worked our way into it and then were completely dominant by the end. Felt like St Kilda barely got the ball in their forward half in that final quarter. Deserved win.

Proud of the boys, for a young and inexperienced team to hang around for that long was impressive.
Kicked ourselves out of it in the end, had we kicked one straighter or if the umpires did their job properly would have made all the difference.
Hopefully that stings and a few boys will be looking to make up for it.
