Hard to believe that Freo being a top 4/5 side and that they can’t put away the hawks

The issue for Freo as it has been in other seasons is their away form. They need home finals or they are boned. Ignoring the Swans upset at the SCG which the Swans kicked themselves out of and still nearly stole it, Freo have had a pretty charmed run.

Of the top 8 teams before this round started, they get Swans/Port twice, but they only get Carlton, us, Bombers, GWS and Brisbane once for the whole season. They had Carlton at a neutral venue [SA round], Bombers at the MCG and Geelong/Brisbane at Optus.

But I have zero faith in this Freo team delivering in a final away especially against teams with big finals experience i.e Cats, Swans, Blues, Lions, GWS.

Really the only away final they could win would be against the Bombers at the MCG.
