Yes they will. Plenty in Melbourne will. I think Adelaide clubs would too.
Absolutely no chance, imo. He’s one year from being completely cooked. We will nurse him to 300 next year, play him in the WAFL, break glass in case of emergency. No way a team better than us is going to offer anything worthwhile for that contribution.

Is there an argument against Oliver Eastland, 199cm/100kg ruckman, who has been really dominant in the WAFL this year.

26 years old and would probably offer more to our mids than whatever the f*ck Bwill has been giving them at different stages this year.

All of this is above Trew though. Im replacing Trew with someone better is all im doing here.
And I disagree that he is better mainly because I look at more than possession count. They average the same amount of touches anyway once accounted for game time.

Thought this last season ( Mid Season draft ) so versatile but no-one agreed but would be handy as a second ruck .

Mate im there purely to talk to players, their managers and the other clubs because the club isn't allowed to in season directly FFS. I can't put offers together or deals. I'm a specialist contractor with a specific job.

Even if I was involved in the draft side of things this year (im not at all) I would have to say things to throw off potentially who I would be chasing because of NDA parts of contract.

I can't comment on the coach, who I want or who the club wants unless the Club or the person themselves have ruled them out of the race.
Alright. My comment was a generalisation. I dont know the nuances of the footy industry, and all my comments are from a general fans perspective.

If we are after X player, and they want to extract top dollar. I assume with the increases in cap and legacy contracts are coming to end, I would not understand why there would be such a hardline in salary. So long as the request it is within reason. You do it, and get it done.

Anecdotally, it sounds like there is a good 1.5M to play with from 2025 onwards.

I would think negotiating with the player is the easy part, its trading with the players club that seems to make things hard? But anyway do what you go do, and I wish the club well.

How much of our poor possession count is player based and how much is game style. Bloody tiring stuff having to kick down the line every time and win the ball at ground level only to rinse and repeat, compared to other teams that overlap run and share the ball around a lot more than our blokes.

We need a couple more at the coalface with a shed load more of spread and link up (I know, sex life) running players.

Gonna be a lot easier to delist players after this week.
Absolute final chance for those on the chopping block next week.
Can't see any surviving.

Will be a pretty big list turnover.

Barrass (trade)
Burgiel
Culley
L Edwards
Gaff (ret)
Jones
Rotham
Sheed (pay out)
Trew
Witherden

Baker & Rawlinson to be given another year, but not a necessity.

I don't think next weeks performances will matter one iota, as the decisions would have already been made.

Short of Trew getting 30 possessions and kicking 5 goals, I cant see the list manager changing his mind based on one game, he will already know who he is delisting and who he will try to trade out.

I hope Darling stays an Eagle and next year we are given a rd24 home game and Jack and Crippa retire in that.

We aren't making finals n stuff so be nice to get another guy to 300

Can't see Crippa retiring with a year to go on his contract.
Why on earth would he?

He's probably on $550 000 a year.

Yep i cant recall when we had more than 2 players.exceed 25 disposals

This has been a problem of ours for the longest time. I know a high possession count isn't the be all end all, but most weeks our top possession getters are like McGovern or once in a while it's Barrass. It's embarrassing. Can we get a player who gets their hands on the pill?

Mind you, Trew doing that and being delisted would be reminiscent of Jason Gillespie scoring 200 and getting dropped. Stuff of legend.

I'm not sure if you're underrating O 'Driscoll or overrating Trew TBH.

Trew will give you everything but as long as his arse points to the ground, he will never be a good AFL player.

O'Driscoll burst onto the scene and then was hit by injuries.

In 20 odd games, he get got a Rising Star nomination and was nominated for goal of the year two times.

It's been mentioned on here that he has degenerative knee injury.

Would be great if we could get him for a bag of chips.
His upside is so much more than Trew's could ever be.

Perfect. Eyes on Red Sea Internet Cables Sir. 👀👀👀 Basel 3 Rules also 👀👀 ISO20022👀.

Strange things happen Mr HoneyBadger. Timing is key. Tell ya what I'd be surprised if this hasn't happened by September 1 when Russia/BRICS legalises Crypto payments just like Dubai has. 👀

Give ya the heads up. Under GENEVA LAW when a financial system on Earth is changed everything is wiped. Give you a little tidbit to research STELLAR XLM, SOROBAN & SMART CONTRACTS. Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom.

You just been given the best. Now get, go research.

I will bet my life on all of the above happening, the next 3 months of your life will be the wildest. Cutting the Red Sea Cables cuts off the world banking "SWIFT" system then it will be switched over to Elon's Starlink Internet. Brace For Shock Lad. The World As You Know It, Is About To Change Forever. I describe it like cutting down a tree at the base, every branch must fall. A lot of changes...

The ENTIRE PLANET will know.

Jeez a fortnight is a long time in footy. Everyone was on the Trew train 2 weeks ago, today he's trash.

This board definitely doesn't disappoint when we lose a game.
Throw Chesser on the pile too, didn't have a single disposal all day!

But seriously Burgiel, WTF is he even doing. I hope we give him 1 more year just to do something, anything🤷

Meth.

Not even once.

A solid performance in his VFL debut from Harvey Langford, showcasing his wares to the Richmond recruiters who hold pick 1 in the November national draft. He played the same role that Finn O'Sullivan played last week, starting the first quarter on ball before playing out the final three quarters on a forward flank. Its a role that can suit his game, but he had to make the most of the limited opportunities that came his way. He flew for his marks, being unfortunately robbed of a lovely grab on the far wing, and he showed a nice step and change of direction on a couple of occasions. The one area where he let himself down a little was his kicking, which he rushed and got a bit wayward on a couple of occasions.

His upside might be better but he hasn’t played at trews current level for two seasons. Neither are very good and we shouldn’t be recruiting spuds like this to come in from other clubs.
