I was at a WAFL match yesterday for the club. Not allowed to express an opinion when asked or enjoy a Sunday? (which was equally shit)

Lets just say there seems to be a big difference between what I think a player is worth, their club and manager think they are worth and what Clarke seems willing to offer contract wise.
This has everybody rates and wants Knobel apart from Clarke written all over it. Can we package him up and send him back to Richmond as part of the hideous Baker trade?

Dyson Sharp, the red hot favourite to be pick 1 in 2025, made his senior SANFL debut yesterday as a 17 year old and had an excellent outing in messy conditions for Central Districts. The physical side of the game just comes so naturally to Dyson and he showed it throughout by consistently out muscling and overpowering men many years his senior. He was pivotal in Central getting back into the game in the third quarter, influencing contests and hitting the scoreboard with a roost from outside 50.

Oh I like the looks of this.

I could be out of line.

But if the cap is set to increase, Barrass out the door, Gaff contract finishing up .etc can’t we just give a little to get over the line? Unless we have a huge target then what’s a 100k here or there?

Mate im there purely to talk to players, their managers and the other clubs because the club isn't allowed to in season directly FFS. I can't put offers together or deals. I'm a specialist contractor with a specific job.

Even if I was involved in the draft side of things this year (im not at all) I would have to say things to throw off potentially who I would be chasing because of NDA parts of contract.

I can't comment on the coach, who I want or who the club wants unless the Club or the person themselves have ruled them out of the race.

Perfect. Eyes on Red Sea Internet Cables Sir. 👀👀👀 Basel 3 Rules also 👀👀 ISO20022👀.

Strange things happen Mr HoneyBadger. Timing is key. Tell ya what I'd be surprised if this hasn't happened by September 1 when Russia/BRICS legalises Crypto payments just like Dubai has. 👀

Give ya the heads up. Under GENEVA LAW when a financial system on Earth is changed everything is wiped. Give you a little tidbit to research STELLAR XLM, SOROBAN & SMART CONTRACTS. Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom.

You just been given the best. Now get, go research.

I will bet my life on all of the above happening, the next 3 months of your life will be the wildest. Cutting the Red Sea Cables cuts off the world banking "SWIFT" system then it will be switched over to Elon's Starlink Internet. Brace For Shock Lad. The World As You Know It, Is About To Change Forever. I describe it like cutting down a tree at the base, every branch must fall. A lot of changes...

The ENTIRE PLANET will know.
And yet you’re still worried about our draft picks! Where are your priorities?!

Telling signs if true.
Listen to Schoey’s answer re: Barrass during the call. They’re mates. He knows.

It’s a formality, just waiting on price and announcement now.

Cripps to get Gaffs role in the WAFL next year
Darling idk, if hes playing well in the WAFL and he doesnt ruin team structure lets get him to 300.
Sheed retire.
Witho delist
LEdwards retired
JJ delist
Rotham delist
Culley delist
Rawlinson delist
Barrass trade
Ryan if someone offers a mid teens pick then trade.
Petch trade if anybody offers a 3rd rounder
Baker delist if we want rookie spot

Guys like Culley cant be kept on the list if they are not the future, idk why so many like him so much the bloke just sucks. Hes ok in the WAFL but is not AFL standard.
Trew has been ok but this week did nothing, id keep him with the intention of him being a WAFL only player, find mature bodies elsewhere.
Darling and Cripps in the WAFL will be good senior bodies for most of the year.

Need to find at least 3 mature players from elsewhere to replace the mature bodies we are lising. Baker, Graham, Clurey, and Dev are some of the ones spoken about. Id like to add 1 more but guys like Cumming and Perryman seem destined for other clubs.
Adding Dev, Baker and Graham to our 22 will be a big improvement.

Id also go looking at other WAFL/VFL/SANFL clubs and offer jobs at the club to some of the better players, and then get them to play for the beagles. Even offer them a rookie spot on the list to come over and try their chances.
Id rather have a couple mid 20s guys chasing a chance at an AFL career who can carry the beagles than a couple 18 year olds who are realistically a 1% chance of being a player. If we have to find new guys every couple of years then no biggie

Trew done.
Witho done.
Rotham done.
LEdwards done.
Jones done.
Gaff done.
At least two of Burgiel, Culley and Baker done.
Barrass traded.

Easy peasy to get to 9 or 10 list changes without even needing to look at guys who still have contracts.
The problem is I would rather keep guys like Trew and Baker over Sheed, Darling and Jamieson.

Trew for me is built for a really nice WAFL career. He has AFL calibre work rate, he crashes in, tries his guts out…but he’s just not very…good. Terrifying with the footy in hand. But ****, does he try harder than half of them.

H. Brayshaw areas. If we give him a year on the main list, I’m fine with it. I just don’t have a lot of hope that the skills will ever get to a level where we can capitalise on the doggedness.

Baker, simply haven’t seen enough of to say but that worries me in and of itself.

Sheed, Darling, Jamo would all be gone if they were out of contract this year. They’re not, so I’m just showing how easy it is to make 8-10 changes without even needing to do anything remotely creative.

We won’t be starved of turnover, that’s for sure.

Yeah that was a pretty awkward 15 seconds

I wonder if Barrass announcement gets made this week and we hold him out of the last game

Or if we just don't name him again with no explanation

Watching todays game was just a joke. The team played as though their feet were stuck in the mud and outside of Edwards and Yeo it's hard to think of players who actually played good games.
Was just a joke mate, don't Nisbett me

Trews skills are fine where has this narrative come from that he has poor skills. His obvious issue in games he hasn't played well in is that he cant find / win the ball.

We will hold barrass out because 1 more head knock and the deal may fall through permanently.

His back isn't the concern regarding the medical to hawks

Exciting times when you pair the 2 together. Watch n see Sir. Some of the names being mentioned in trades are massive. There is another major Worldwide lockdown incoming as mentioned by W.H.O the other day. It all goes together what i mentioned above. God Bless. Brace. The world is about to make a "QUANTUM LEAP" Watch Crypto Legislation Worldwide. The World Is Connected.

Just like the Closing of Fremantle Ports now 🤔 it all goes together. Google Starlink Internet and Shipping.

In time Sir i will relay this all back to AFL Draft, Contracts etc. Enjoy. It effects everything. Sporting Contracts, Sponsors etc.

Quantum Banking, these guys are connected to Australian Banks.

Surely zero sense in playing him this week. Edwards playing well, Gov a lock, zero to play for. It’s a week, protect the trade asset. And if a huge 180 takes place and the deal falls through, nobody remembers this round ever again anyway.

Graham will likely miss at least one game next year. I'm not sure anyway if he's worth it. We need to stop getting these average cast off's like Jones, Hunt, Witherden.

Speaking of cast off's. Is Petreculle worth anything ? Or should we just let him stay on the list. The amount of time we've invested in him, such a waste. Maybe not the worst project player ever but still.

His kicking is a real worry to me. The Alesana wrap ups of his game have some disposals that terrify me. St Kilda game a good starting place.

Also has a good disposal in him, but the gulf between the best and worst is stark.

I won’t mind if we keep him on the list and give another coach a look at him, but he just looks like the classic too good for WAFL, not good enough for AFL type to me.

Lowers his trade value if we flat out give up on trying to keep him

Its a loser attitude i feel.

Cost benefit of playing him is awful.

At best, he plays a BOG game in a crazy win. Chances: minimal.

At worst he has a major injury. Chances: Higher than BOG in a stirring win against the top 4 Cats, that’s for sure.

Anyone who is trading a first (regardless of what else changes hands to get it done) for a player isn’t one game away from changing their mind in any direction.

They wont change their mind. They will just have a better position to bargain from if we dont play him
