His last game of 2010, where he had 30 something touches and 3 goals, was brilliant. I thought he'd broken out and we'd see him become a star last year.
And to be fair, he did win the Best and Fairest...
This year he seems to be playing up forward more, and he looks slower, and he seems...
BS for ages now.
I remember R1 2009 against the Bombers when the "official" crowd was 28,000 or so yet there was definitely 30 and above!
However, I think it may have worked the other way too. A cold game against WCE drew a crowd of about 14,000 when it was more like 359.
For this...
Re: DREAM TEAM/SUPERCOACH - Please post ALL queries regarding Dream Team/Supercoach/Player Injuries
How much can I read into Scotty T's less than impressive NAB DT Scores?
I had a feeling he could improve his average to 112-115 this season yet it looks like he is having less time in the...
My thoughts:
Hamish, Boak, Brad and Gray look a good size. Especially Boaky who looks much bigger.
Because of their size those 4 all played pretty well, but weren't exceptional.
BOG was O'Shea, especially lit up in the second half. Had about 8 touches in 5 minutes at one point and they...
I thought it was round robin this year, not knockout?
Best NAB Cup player: Travis Boak.
Where do Port finish: Maybe beat Freo in Victor.
Biggest surprise of the NAB Cup: Redden performs above expectations.
In 2010 against North Melbourne - I think Choco's second to last game as coach - Pearce played off the half back and I remember him picking up a lot of touches and probably being our best. I looked it up and he got 112DT and 138SC that day.
I think he could average 80-90DT off the half back...
I too like Dom Captain and Boak Vice. Then Schulz, Hammer and Trengove leaders for their respective positions.
I imagine next year we could have the same group but with Boak or Jackson wearing Number One.
There's been a few that have stood out since the 07 debacle!
Losing to the Lions after being 47 points up mid-way through the third term.
Losing to Carlton after being 30 points up at three quarter time.
Losing to the Lions after being 47 points up, again.
Losing to the yet-to-win that...
I went with
1997 Round 3 Port Adelaide V Geelong
1997 Round 12 Port Adelaide V Western Bulldogs
2001 Round 17 Port Adelaide V Essendon
2003 Round 19 Port Adelaide V Carlton - Prison Bars.
2004 Grand Final Port Adelaide V Brisbane
2006 Round 21 Port Adelaide V Adelaide
2007 Qualifying...
Changed my name to Breaking Bad after watching the first series of that great show, wow. And all my players are going to have massive break-out seasons.
hahaha TSW at "PasswordIsTaco," great name, love The League.
Anyway looking forward to it! No more Port bias! :thumbsu:
Really interested to hear more stuff about how Zac Smith is tracking this pre-season!? His first year was brilliant and to average 71.9 is pretty outstanding (Cox took 4 years to go over 70).
I had a look at the other rucks without the R11 bye. There's Sandi who may not get as much game time...
Re: New Major Sponsor
I doubt we will.
All I was saying is that in the Sponsor v Sponsor-less guernsey debate, that IMO guerney's without sponsors look great.
Re: New Major Sponsor
Obviously it will be good to see sponsors on our guernsey but they do look so more striking without it.
I remember when Saints were without a sponsor last PS and their guernsey looked so good.
Anyway, hopefully something is announced this week.
Thanks guys, better than that I think he averaged 98.8 DT from the last 11 games IIRC.
It might be tough to lock him in until I know he's doing OK in pre-season because I've been burnt so many times by players who have everything going for them, except having decent pre-seasons.
Hey guys,
I just wanted to ask about how Zaharakis' pre-season has been tracking? I know he had some troubles with his knee and this restricted him late last year.. So do you know if he's over it & looking primed to tear up in 2012?
I really want to lock him in because I think he's great...
Hey guys, I'm interested in hearing how Stevie J is tracking this pre-season?
I know he injured his knee before the granny so I was just wondering how he has recovered, and how he's looking this season for DT.
I'm tossing up between him and Chappy :)
I agree but I can see improvement coming soon from Hartlett, Gray and Brad Ebert. Then hopefully later with some of our younger midfielders coming through, headed by Ben Jacobs and Chad Wingard.
