If anyone is in need of two GA tickets for tomorrow nights game, I have a couple that won't be used, which I'm giving away, free. My Melbourne supporting bro in law has gotten sick and can't go. PM me.
*EDIT* Gone now :)
I've never had a call from these people trying to sell raffle books.
I'm also on the governments 'do not call' register. I suggest that anyone who doesn't like getting cold calls from marketing companies registers their number on there.
I've had maybe one call in four years since doing so.
Since November last year, I called and confirmed with member services that I was on the waiting list.
I may have been on the waiting list for a few years before that though, without realising.
Just upgraded my membership to a legends membership for this year.
I already received my member package for the year, will I receive the other stuff that comes with this higher level of membership?
We were slaughtered at every physical contest yesterday, players too scared or unwilling to go in as hard as Richmond were.
We need to seriously toughen up in the off season. Bigger bodies, stronger minds and the willingness to put our heads over the ball and risk being hurt.
No risk no reward...
Working tomorrow till 4pm, then I'll pack and get some sleep before waking up around midnight to start driving over. Hoping the hotel honours our request for early check in.
Will probably get a big bowl of Phó in Hopkins Street for breakfast, then find my way to the ground.
I thought the power pose and stare down, followed by us waiting for GWS to retreat first was great.
Had us fired up and ready for battle, unwilling to back down from the very first contest.
The games we've done poorly in this year, we haven't started with the proper intensity and left ourselves...
Same bay for me, row J. Let's outnumber them!
Edit: silly comment. I bought 2 tickets, u bought 2. We now outnumber the GWS cheer squad in their own section.
Can't believe some of the responses on the Crow Facebook groups to last nights game. Think I'll be removing myself from them, and I hope these idiots stop supporting the club. Better suited over at Richmond.
We're finals bound and guaranteed top two, playing great footy, and we learned some...
Hey, it's better to pipe up occasionally when you've got something quality to say. Rather than repeat the same old used line over and over again, as seems to be your M.O.
Relentless today, only switched off for small periods of the game, a proper four quarter effort. Second most inside 50s on record. 48 shots on goal. We probably should have won by more?
Was at the game with my aunt and mum. Few members in front of us got up and left when Saints got two goals up. They saw one of them outside afterwards and gave it to him, haha!
At the game in some great seats thanks to a fella on this board, thanks! Umpiring is terrible, and the skills on show are also not far behind so far. Weather should be great in the second half, so I'm expecting a completely different game.
I'm bringing my Port supporting mother and auntie to their first Adelaide Oval game this arvo. We've got GA tickets, and they would prefer to have seats than to be standing on the hill.
How early should we arrive, and which area is best for guaranteeing a seat for us all?
He missed his only opportunity for a farewell game against Geelong at home. We could have played him with the sole purpose of nailing one or both of Dangerfield or Selwood with a huge hit, copped a suspension and then retired a club legend.
I've heard this story too, but from a long time Redlegs supporter. The version I heard from him was that it was the Norwood supporters at Alberton with the skewered Magpies.
Have you even been watching our games? We have pace and elusiveness in the midfield in spades this year, Atkins makes the opposition look like they've got concrete boots on when he side steps, and Hampton, Cameron and others have the speed to burn off the chaser. Disposal by foot has also been a...
Pedestrian midfield, haha!
I think that all you do is string together a bunch of words to sound like you're smart, in the hope that other people believe what you're saying. This somehow fulfils your own belief in the crap you come up with.
I think a good rule change would be to penalise any player who tries to disguise a throw as a handball with a 50m penalty. Too many do it and get away with it these days, this would be a good way to make it stop.
