Sincs, like quite a few of our players, needs to contribute over 4 quarters, not drift in and out of games. If we can get more consistency out of these guys, we will start winning more games.

He's 24 now, he's done well for a kid of the rookie list, but we still need a bit more.

2015 he played as a forward, and was as effective as any of our current Forwards.
2016 he moved to the wing but didn't play so much. Can't remember why.
2017 he played on the wing and was elite for meters gained. Also got 39 clearances.
2018 did his role change a bit? Was a bad year for the Saints. No Stevens, No Armitage , No Reiwoldt or Montagna.
2019 got less disposals than in 2018 but more kicks and 55 clearances for the year. Do the clearances mean he was playing more inside?

Im surprised he had more clearances this year. It looked like he was spending a significant more time forward than the past 2 years.

Sinclair might benefit from Richardson moving on , it might let him become more attacking.
Whatever happens he has to impact the game more or he will find he will be losing his position to one of the younger guys.
Sinclair is one of our best runners and best users of the football, he is now at the age where he could easily have a huge season and show us he is best 22 - I can only hope.
Good call. Ratts had said he wants us to play a more attacking game style, and that will suit Sinclair perfectly.

With Hill and Billings, it means he won't get much opportunity to tart on the wing but I'd like to see him off half back or even tried in the centre square.

His 2019 stats would indicate more of an inside role. Whether that is the his best use is another question.

I’ve got a problem. I’m on holiday for my 30th, at a beach resort, Jack Billings is also here with his girlfriend.

How do I befriend him???

Hit on his girlfriend. When he comes over to remonstrate just tell him you were only using her to get to him

Sorry - wrong thread - actually wrong forum.

When I retired I set aside a small amount of money to "play" the share market. By a series of incompetent "investment" decisions I managed to end up with it all in a single penny dreadful speculator in South Africa and pretty much thought I'd done all my money.

Checked again this week for the first time for months and guess what - I've made $10k this week!!!!!!!! Do that again next week and I'll be back in front!!!

As for DFA - you'd think we'd be looking at mids first up and saving ruck support and swingman support till draft time.

So of the known ones - one of Bennell, Partington Menadue or Webb would be nice. Partington would be my pick - but I reckon he might get a few offers so it might be tough.

Ruck - Archie Smith or Ryan Abbott

Swingman - Brown or Walker.

I wanted Partington when he was delisted last year. If he is legitimately available then I hope we are putting a really good offer in front of him.

I feel like Port and the Crows will go hard though.

Manufacture a drama that distances him from his gf, while painting you as a saviour..

Tell him you saw his wife feeling up the concierge when JB was in the toilet.

well I'm no ITK, but from what's leaked over the years it sounds like our 'good bloke' policy stopped us from pouncing on him when he was there for the taking. Sounds like he was very gettable for a bit there. I reckon if lethers/gags etc were running things back then he'd be a saint.
Ok

The media says we de-listed Newnes / so whatever we offered him was taken off the table , that is a massive blow to the guys confidence - I just wonder if the guy knew at the start of the year his future was on the line.

I got the impression that he was delisted so he could get to another club. Carlton must have offered him more than what the Saints put in front of him and much the same as what happened with Membrey a few years back, we delisted him to get him to another club.
