Hill was drafted for less than the dockers traded him in for which was pick 25. Which they got for the mayne compo.

We are now going to give up pick 10 plus a future 2nd plus stuv plus acres to get him

Acres going for pick 58 aka nothing. I get we are doing him a favor so that I'm ok with.

The reported Hill and Acres trades are junk. Massive overs. It can't be right.

As annoying as the Steven thing is, seems like the club just wants him off the books so is happy to send him off.

The Bruce deal will get us Jones. People will have differing views on this but I like it since it will make our midfield better.

Acres is going for steak knives/nothing because he is worth nothing.

Yes we are overpaying for Hill, but thats what you need to do to get high quality, elite contracted players int your club.

Seems like a fair trade considering Hill is under contract

Overall the team and depth is significantly improved. The only player better than Hill in this TP is Kelly. Howard is potentially massive and I think Jines will have real impact on our game plan.

Cannot see how anyone can complain about this. We have potentially picked up 5 immediate 1st 22 players with pick 6, 59 and a future 2nd and Bruce. That borders on genius if it gets done.

Not that I mind losing Acres, but if Freo had already agreed to the deal, why would we then send a contracted Acres to them as an "add-on"?

Blacres apparently would have learnt $500K next season... wow.

I know our cap is in good nick but put that directly towards one of the recruits is good management.

I still think we may have a surprise for all. It doesn't make sense why Acres is being involved when freo had already agreed to the deal. I will not be surprised if whatever we get for Acres goes to another club for that ''6th' player. Bonar/McLean ?
