We have Murray for that when he comes back, as well as Butts and Keane for nowWorrell is more suited imo than BZT as a 2nd tall defender...
If BZT can't play well on the big tall forwards, then he is not a need.
Doedee for BZTHuh?
Oh. OkDoedee for BZT
Personally, I think it's Butts or Murray, not both. Then you have two more attacking talls in the backline next to them, players who go both ways.Worrell is more suited imo than BZT as a 2nd tall defender...

Does someone have the link where it talks about Dawson to the midfield being his idea?I tried to find it the other day, and couldn't.Im not even sure Nicks does
There is room for both Murray & Butts/Keane against sides which have 2 genuine tall forwards... but Worrell gives us the option of being the 2nd tall if we feel we want to go smaller.Personally, I think it's Butts or Murray, not both. I remember an interview where he said he and Nicks had discussed it as something they wanted to do. Then, before the Port game Dawson went to Nicks and said let’s do it now.Does someone have the link where it talks about Dawson to the midfield being his idea?I tried to find it the other day, and couldn't.
So Dawson a future coach of AFC...I remember an interview where he said he and Nicks had discussed it as something they wanted to do. Then, before the Port game Dawson went to Nicks and said let’s do it now.
The idea that Nicks had to be convinced is just one of those things that everyone thinks happens - but it didn’t.
That was this year, Nicks played Dawson in the midfield last year but he wasn't as influential as he is this year.I remember an interview where he said he and Nicks had discussed it as something they wanted to do. Then, before the Port game Dawson went to Nicks and said let’s do it now.

Dawson said a subsequent interview he trained less with the midfield this preseason than the previous year. Odd thing to do if that was Nicks plan all along.I remember an interview where he said he and Nicks had discussed it as something they wanted to do. In an interview Dawson definitely said he trained less this year than last with the midfield group, it was not on the cards with the coaching staff.I remember an interview where he said he and Nicks had discussed it as something they wanted to do. And possibly Borlase? We have Murray for that when he comes back, as well as Butts and Keane for now
It was a presser that nicksy and Dawson held after the first showdownDoes someone have the link where it talks about Dawson to the midfield being his idea?I tried to find it the other day, and couldn't.
That sounds familiar. Worth a look.It was a presser that nicksy and Dawson held after the first showdown
Then he backed it up in an interview later, saying he didn’t train as much with the mids this preseason. It was a presser that nicksy and Dawson held after the first showdown

This has nothing about me defending Nicks. I have openly said there are things he has done that I don't agree with.In other news, Pilchard Adams runs to the defence of Matthew Nicks again. This time he tries humour which falls flat and is quite embarrassing.
The silliness of your post, if Nicks isn’t responsible for team selection who is?
Thoughts on a tall as the sub on the big expanse of Optus on a warm day?

This is about how you manage to turn everything into a dig against Nicks to support your agenda
