I'll have to go back and check who the first person was to proclaim Hayward to Crows because if it comes off will win the 2023 rumour thread.

Currently the Rachele and Soligo long ass deals is winning best confirmed rumour.

John Ralph might well be correct, but in all seriousness why would any club give up 3 good firsts to get pick 4 in this draft. we didn’t even offer that much for pick 1 with JHF, as ours were mostly late firsts. If it was pick 1 for Harley Reid I could understand slightly but for Sanders or McKercher, really?

I wonder if we aren't actually after pick 4 but the secondary trade, ie if WB give Gold Coast 10 and 17 or North give 11 and 14 we'll actually look at trying to get pick 10 or 11 off Gold coast.

I think this would be a great outcome. As mentioned here before giving up what we would need to get pick 4 would be risky. It is likely all of the guns mids we would be targeting are off the table before pick 4 if NM get the pick 3 compo for Mckay.

it has been said that the first round is very even after the first 8 picks, so if we can end up with pick 9 and 10 and take say Darcy Wilson and Connor O'sullivan, that would be an amazing result.

A team that finishes 10 like Adelaide could end up with pick 16 due to all the picks been given out. Earliest pick given should be pick 20 and all f/s or academy players should not be given discount.
