Burgess is a far cheaper option and better suited to what we need, which is depth. Murray, Butts, Worrell and MM are a good first 4, with the likes of Burgess as depth. Bringing Cox in just didn’t make any sense, especially at such a high asking price.

Seriously wtf... as Ben Hart is one of our best players ever! Rarely played a poor game in a long career.

4x All Australian & 2x B&F.

Comfortably in our top-10 players of all-time.

Should have won the 1998 Norm Smith imo & was great in finals.

Don't use the fact he is a poor coach reflect on his playing career.

I think there’s a little recency bias in that one, but no question Tex belongs at the sharp tip of the conversation

No player has meant more to the club in terms of heart and soul, which combined with his production, longevity, leadership thrusts him right at the pointy end of best ever players
