21 or 24 + Doedee compo for Port’s F1 (can’t see any team being able to offer anything like that)Would Port be looking to split their future first to get these players in? Could that be useful?

Yes I believe he had a messy breakup as per info from someone I know. That would explain him staying with Gawn.Very interesting that the rumour is he wasnt happy with how the fitness dept treated his hammy injury.. and that he sort advice from outside the club..
Could he be missing the trusted relationship, skills and knowledge of Darren Burgess?.. Dees players gave Darren a hell of a lot of credit for their premiership success..
and interesting that he’s blaming the club for this hammy and the club is apparently blaming him.. sounds like there’s one pretty decent sized rift there..
Anyone know if he attended the Brownlow?… has he broken up with his missus recently or something?.. Because his other actions sound like the sort of mischief and shite some young lads get themself into after a break up.. get a bit loose and off the rails for a bit..
come over to Adelaide young fella!..
Isn’t that how all reports of bombshell players that end up leaving start, though? With general posturing?
Look you might be right, but considering our club’s current position, you’d just have to take a deeper look into the situation, at least
If he has kids then he wouldn’t shift states you’d think.Yes I believe he had a messy breakup as per info from someone I know.

Then 9 + two F1s + McAdam for Oliver + change
If Melb prefers quantity over quality (and he doesn’t want to go to a cellar-dweller like NM) that could work
Disagree in this instanceThere is absolutely no chance in hell that a player like Oliver comes to the Crows. A grade mids from, and already in, Melbourne dont leave to go to Adelaide or Perth. They want the lifestyle and off field opportunities in bleak city. We could offer Melbourne our first round pick for the next 10 years, but he would never agree to the trade.
And thank god with a head like that
If there was any chance at all - sell the farm to get Oliver.
Maybe you are right re: Burgess, but if he is in the middle of the “Melbourne scene”, doubt he wants to leave it to live in the Adelaide fishbowl. I absolutely hate this competition sometimes, but A grade, non-SA born players are basically out of bounds for us in a trade scenairo..why we can never truly compete long term against the likes of the Pies, Cats etc because we dont have the same access to players they do…Disagree in this instance
- he played his best football under Burgess fitness
- getting him away from the Melb scene with his apparent issues is the best thing for him
You've never tried tattooing your own foot?Ah no.
Sounds an absolute fruit loop
Melbourne open to trading Oliver for the right price amid frustration and concern from teammates

The scene he is in is not a good one let’s put it that wayMaybe you are right re: Burgess, but if he is in the middle of the “Melbourne scene”, doubt he wants to leave it to live in the Adelaide fishbowl. The point of difference is to get him on board. How does $1.5m a year and Burgess looking after your fitness sound, Clarry?!There’d be a lot of teams that would have, and give up, two good firsts (or more). NMelb, Hawks, Geelong are the ones I can think of that would take him
Is there any point of difference that we can offer?
He can only change that if he wants to, if not he’ll bring it with himThe scene he is in is not a good one let’s put it that way
For his health, wellbeing and happiness it’s a much better option to get out and Adelaide presents that
McAdam is lazy we know this
There’s a reason why he was drafted so late … his work rate and fitnessWe do not!
Need to convince him to request a trade to you and then the trade will be at a "reasonable price" since it looks like Melbourne want him out.The "right price" is also probably a price no team would be willing to pay cause it's just a stupid amount to trade for one player.

Rumour on the Dees board that he turned up 30 minutes late to his exit interview, after a big night, without sleeping first. Coaches had enough. He can only change that if he wants to, if not he’ll bring it with him
Burgess really could be kicker here, with mentions he was unhappy about the fitness and rehabilitation at MelbNeed to convince him to request a trade and then the trade will be at a "reasonable price" since it looks like Melbourne want him out.
