I can see why people are critical of Cook, couple of times already he hasn't straight lined the ball - just putting an arm out trying to collect the loose ball.

Every time I watch the SANFL it seems like the other team is able to convert every set shot, every snap into a goal, while our team of mostly AFL-listed players kicks point after point, when they're not booting it out on the full.

Some bad basic mistakes there by our players, half hearted tackling and commitment to the contest, lack of composure, rushed kicks, running ourselves into trouble, not getting back far enough off the mark, too many up to mark/spoil. Hope the ones aren't like this.

A fair bit of that is the opposition keeping our forward line flooded whilst we often allow ourselves to be as much as one or two short in their forward line. You can see it easily, they have lots of open space in their forward line, we rarely do (and even then, straight after bounces etc, we dont spread out much, so even then before they can get back we still invite someone to come across/in).
